NFL Draft order: Titans fall to sixth with win

The Tennessee Titans fell to sixth in the 2026 NFL Draft order with their 26-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday. They were fourth heading into the day. The good news is that the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals also won yesterday. That puts both of those teams at five wins.

Right now, just the Titans and the Arizona Cardinals have three wins. The Cardinals are one spot ahead of the Titans right now. Tennessee and Arizona both have a strength of schedule faced of .575. The Cardinals move ahead of the Titans because of the Titans’ win over the Cardinals.

The Washington Commanders currently have four wins and hold the seventh spot. The New Orleans Saints and Cincinnati Bengals are at five wins and hold draft spots eight and nine, respectively. After that, the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons*, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys all have six wins. That means even if the Titans win out, the lowest they could pick is ninth.

It seems crazy to think that the Titans will win out, but they face the 5-10 Saints at home this week, and then go to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in week 18. There is a chance the Jaguars won’t be playing for anything in that game, depending on how next week shakes out.

Here is how the top 18 in the 2026 NFL Draft order:

  1. New York Giants (2-13)
  2. Las Vegas Raiders (2-13)
  3. Cleveland Browns (3-12)
  4. New York Jets (3-12)
  5. Arizona Cardinals (3-12)
  6. Tennessee Titans (3-12)
  7. Washington Commanders (4-11)
  8. New Orleans (5-10)
  9. Cincinnati Bengals (5-10)
  10. Miami Dolphins (6-9)
  11. Los Angeles Rams (via Atlanta Falcons 6-9)
  12. Kansas City Chiefs (6-9)
  13. Dallas Cowboys (6-8-1)
  14. Baltimore Ravens (7-8)
  15. Minnesota Vikings (7-8)
  16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-8)
  17. Detroit Lions (8-7)
  18. New York Jets (via Indianapolis Colts 8-6)

*The Los Angeles Rams hold the Falcons’ first round pick.

Titans vs. Saints opening odds: Tennessee opens as a home underdog again

gettyimages-2252434410.jpg

For the 16th straight week this year, the Tennessee Titans are an underdog. This time, they are a three-point underdog against the New Orleans Saints at home on FanDuel Sportsbook. I thought there was a chance they might be favored in this one, but that was before I realized the Saints have won three straight games. That, technically, makes them one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

The Titans have played pretty good football themselves the last three weeks. They have won two out of three. It was the defense that let them down in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The offense looks to have found its footing late in the season. If that can continue this week at Nissan Stadium, they will have a chance to win back-to-back games for the first time since the infamous plane ride back from Green Bay in November of 2022.

I’m probably overconfident coming off a big win over a deflated Kansas City Chiefs team, but I’d think the Titans find a way to win this game. How confident are you that they can make it two in a row?
