What do you call soft drinks?

What do you call soft drinks where you live? Some people living in northern United States call soft drinks pop. I live in Tennessee, and I'm pretty sure we call it soda. What about you?

No, just kidding. I'm in Iowa, and it seems like most people here call it pop.

I tend to call it pop for the most part, but I usually correct myself because I feel like I sound funky.

Pop sounds too old fashioned. I just say "soft drink" or "soda"

What we call soft drinks is basically just the drinks that you can get from the soda dispensers at fast food places. Lol.

Pop is what people up north seem to call it, and some rednecks seems to call it soda pop.

Down here it's soda though.

I call them soda, and so do most of my friends. I was surprised to see that the majority of Kansan City folks call it pop. I don't hear pop too often around here. I was also surprised to see on the map that a majority of southerners call it coke. That doesn't even make sense to me, since Coke is a brand of soda. I'd understand Cola more than Coke.

Just Sodas, and I come from the South where everyone calls them 'Cokes' regardless of brand.
