Shaq Doesn’t Hold Back His Thoughts About Stephen Curry

Golden State Warriors v Charlotte Hornets

Is Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors one of the greatest NBA players of all time?

That is a subject of great debate, of course, but Shaquille O’Neal believes that Curry should at least be part of the conversation.

Speaking on NBA on TNT, O’Neal stated that people need to discuss Curry when they talk about who is the greatest basketball player ever.

“You talk about points, you talk about rings and all that, Steph is right up there in that,” O’Neal said.

He said all he has done, including his four championships, has earned him more than just an honorable mention in this conversation.

People consider Curry the greatest shooter of all time, but is he just one of the straight-up best players ever too?

Some people say his four titles are enough to enter his name into the conversation but others feel he is nothing more than just a really smart and strong shooter who can sink unbelievable circus shots.

What can’t be debated is how impactful Curry has been.

He has clearly changed the league and there is a much greater emphasis on shooting because of him.

It’s rare that one player alters the entire league and sport in such a way and that is a true testament to Curry’s greatness and unique abilities.

If Curry and his Warriors reach the Finals again, more and more people will talk about Curry as a potential GOAT.

They are making a lot of progress lately and have gone 8-2 over their last 10 games.

They are now the sixth seed in the West and many analysts are saying they shouldn’t be counted out.

Can they reach the Finals again and what would that do to Curry’s place in league history?

Stephen Curry changed the NBA as we knew it.

One might argue that it was for better or for worse, but that’s not the point.

The fact is that Stephen Curry defined this era of basketball, and more than that, he owned it.

He stepped up in the midst of the LeBron James era and beat him three times in the NBA Finals, effectively ending it and making some people question whether it was his era at all.

That’s why Shaquille O’Neal, who played with Kobe Bryant and LeBron James and against Michael Jordan, believes No. 30 also belongs in the GOAT conversation.

With that in mind, Brian Windhorst pointed out some of the accolades Curry has accomplished, and his résumé stacks up with the likes of Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and LeBron James.

Hence, he thinks he definitely deserves to be in the conversation (via First Take).

Curry has won almost everything a player can win.

He’s won with and without Kevin Durant.

He’s beaten the best players on Earth at the biggest stage, and he’s done it over and over.

He might not be the biggest trash-talker or a freakish athlete, and some will never respect the three-point revolution.

But he’s literally changed the way the game is played, how defense gets set, and how kids work out and practice.

He’s the most influential player of his generation, and the numbers also speak for themselves: He deserves a spot near the top of that list.

Draymond Green Says Steph Curry Belongs In GOAT Conversation

The Golden State Warriors changed basketball.

Some love it, some hate it, but no one can deny that they’ve defined an era in NBA basketball.

That was only possible because of Stephen Curry and his unique skill set.

That’s why Draymond Green agrees with Shaquille O’Neal when he says that Curry deserves to be in the GOAT conversation (via The Draymond Green Show and Legion Hoops):

“With all due respect to LeBron, Michael Jordan, and Shaq, there’s no one in the history of the NBA that has been schemed against and guarded the way Steph Curry is guarded,” he said.

It’s impossible to disagree with that statement.

Curry has changed the way defense is played.

He’s changed how young players work out and prepare for the pros.

He’s even changed how the entire league schemes and plans their offense.

The only problem is that no one has even come slightly close to doing what he’s done.

Curry is a unique player because he’s not a pass-first point guard, which is why some don’t put him ahead of Magic Johnson in that regard, and that’s fair.

He’s not an athletic freak who will knock people’s socks off with his poster dunks.

As great a player as LeBron James is, Curry took over right in the midst of his prime and won not one, not two, not three, but four championships in what people were calling the LeBron era.

He did so three times against James.

If people want to put LeBron in the GOAT conversation, which they absolutely should after all he’s accomplished, it’s only right they also include the guy who beat him three out of four times on the biggest stage there is.

Steve Kerr Says Stephen Curry Has Greatest Skills Of All Time

Golden State Warriors v Chicago Bulls

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently said that Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors should be in the conversation for greatest basketball player of all time.

Even with all his accomplishments and historic achievements, some people don’t think Curry is a top-five or top-ten player.

His head coach Steve Kerr spoke about this and said that Curry “is the greatest ever from a skills standpoint.”

“It’s different; the way he impacts the game is different. When you have these conversations about ‘Who’s the greatest ever?’ you automatically go to these genetic marvels; you know, LeBron and Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain and whoever else. Steph doesn’t fit that normal mold. I love that Shaq is bringing that up because, from a skills standpoint, it’s not even close. [Curry] is the greatest ever from a skills standpoint,” Kerr said, per 95.7 The Game and NBACentral.

Kerr pointed out something that is very important: Curry isn’t built like the traditional NBA superstar.

This actually worked against him when he entered the NBA.

Because of his size and skill set, some people thought he’d never make it in the league and that he just couldn’t cut it against men who were much bigger and stronger than him.

Instead of simply accepting that, Curry changed the way the sport was played.

His reliance on ball-handling and three-point shots literally transformed the NBA and teams, players, and coaches across the association took note of the success Curry and his team found.

He may not look like LeBron, Jordan, or Chamberlain, but he has still become an icon in his own right.

He didn’t sacrifice the player he is and relied even more on his unique skill set.

Kerr thinks that is a vital and important part of Curry’s game and his legacy.

Steve Kerr Says Steph Curry’s Recent Accomplishment Is ‘Stunning’

Golden State Warriors v Houston Rockets

The Golden State Warriors are far from done.

Steve Kerr’s team keeps pushing hard, and they want to make a deep postseason run this season.

That was evident in their narrow win over the Detroit Pistons.

They held their own vs. a very good and young team, holding the fort down the stretch to secure a big win.

More than that, Stephen Curry had yet another iconic outing, and he scored his 25,000th career point.

When asked about that, coach Kerr tipped his hat to his superstar over this ‘stunning’ accomplishment, adding that it felt like he had actually scored 25,000 three-pointers (via NBA).

"It's stunning… night after night."

— NBA (@NBA) March 9, 2025

Kerr also praised Curry for playing through fatigue.

While he acknowledged that it wasn’t a great shooting night for No. 30, he praised him for being able to get to the line 12 times and find gaps between the Pistons’ physical and tough defense.

Curry finished the game with 32 points on 22 shots, adding three rebounds, four assists, four three-pointers, and one steal.

This game comes on the heels of a 40-point performance vs. the Brooklyn Nets and a 28-point outing vs. the New York Knicks.

Curry seems to be catching fire at the right time, and that’s terrible news for the rest of the league.

The Warriors are now 36-28 and in the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference.

They’re just three games behind the Houston Rockets, and they can’t afford to lose this momentum, as they’re just 0.5 games ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves, another team trying to avoid the Play-In Tournament.

Insider Reveals Jimmy Butler’s Feelings About Playing For Warriors

Portland Trail Blazers v Golden State Warriors

A few months ago, Jimmy Butler said he had lost his joy in playing basketball and wasn’t sure if he could get it back.

After just 13 games with the Golden State Warriors, it sure looks like Butler’s joy has returned.

A new report from Shams Charania revealed that Butler is very happy with his new team and feels it is better than any other organization he has worked for during his 14 years in the league.

“He does feel like this organization is better than any other organization he’s been a part of. But I’m telling you it’s different this time. I haven’t sensed the same feeling he’s had when he went to Philly, when he went to Miami. This is different for Jimmy Butler going to Golden State,” Charania said, per Courtside Buzz.
REPORT: Jimmy Butler reportedly feels like the Golden State Warriors are the best organization he’s ever been a part of, according to Shams Charania.

— Courtside Buzz (@CourtsideBuzzX) March 13, 2025

Charania added that Butler is sticking around for shootarounds more often and is playing in practices and is in the training room too.

He is “going above and beyond to ingratiate himself with the Warriors right now.”

When things were falling apart between him and the Miami Heat, it didn’t seem like Butler would be happy in the NBA ever again.

That clearly isn’t the case and Butler has done great work with the Warriors so far.

He has averaged 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists since coming to the Warriors and the team has a 12-1 record since the Butler trade.

Will this turnaround for Butler and the team erase memories of his breakup with the Heat?

That might not happen and Warriors fans may remain worried that he could someday grow tired of Golden State and make things difficult for them.

But that’s not the case right now and the team is currently sixth in the Western Conference.

Former Player Believes Steph Curry Could Achieve Another Incredible Milestone

Golden State Warriors v Charlotte Hornets

On Thursday evening, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors broke yet another NBA record.

He became the first player in league history to score 4,000 three-pointers and he isn’t slowing down yet.

On Friday, Brian Scalabrine spoke to SiriusXM NBA Radio about Curry’s accomplishments and made a big prediction.

“I think he’ll actually go for 5,000, and that will be the magical number that will never be touched,” Scalabrine said.

It wasn’t that long ago when Curry became the all-time three-pointer leader in league history.

Now, just a few years later, he has surpassed a total that seems insurmountable to many.

Of course, all records are meant to be broken so there is a chance that someone will eventually get over 4,000 threes.

But 5,000 is such a large number that it may not be seen again for several generations.

Even as Curry gets older and retirement inches closer, his three-point shooting remains solid.

This year, he is sinking 39.8 percent of his threes, landing an average of 4.4 per game on 11.2 attempts.

When Curry entered the league, no one had scored 3,000 three-pointers and now that looks like a small number for the 11-time All-Star.

5,000 isn’t too far-fetched and he could go well beyond that too.

Curry is now 37 years old, which means retirement is only a few years away.

So, how far can he go as his NBA career travels further into its final chapter?

If Curry can stay healthy and his Warriors remain competitive, there is every reason to believe he will hit 5,000 and beyond within the next several seasons.

Steve Kerr Jokes About How Many Threes Steph Curry Could End Up With

Golden State Warriors v New York Knicks

Thursday evening marked a special moment for the NBA, as Steph Curry became the first player in league history to reach 4,000 three-pointers.

Following that major achievement, head coach Steve Kerr was asked how many threes Curry could score before retirement.

“8 thousand?” Kerr said with a smile on his face, per the NBA on X.

"8 thousand?" https://t.co/sZ0249wW4B pic.twitter.com/8KX0pF5mFx

— NBA (@NBA) March 14, 2025

Kerr then said it felt like it wasn’t long ago that Curry reached the all-time three-point record and he believes the Warriors superstar has at least 1,000 more treys in him before he steps away from the game.

When Curry started his career, no player in history had ever made 3,000 three-pointers.

Now Curry has surpassed that total and is still adding more to his tally every night.

The home crowd erupted with joy on Thursday when Curry sank his historic shot, which was one of the two threes he made during the game.

They knew they were once again witnessing history.

Curry is averaging 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists this season, shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 39.8 percent from beyond the arc.

He is landing an average of 4.4 threes per game, which means he has many more in him before the end of this season.

Curry is celebrating his 37th birthday on Friday, so he is getting closer to retirement.

But as long as he remains healthy, he could play for several more seasons.

And every game he plays, he will add more to this one-of-a-kind record.

Curry has already broken records but continues to make NBA history, proving there really hasn’t been any shooter like him.

Jonathan Kuminga Has Honest Admission About Jimmy Butler

Golden State Warriors v New York Knicks

Something has gotten into the Golden State Warriors recently and they have been on a roll.

They are racing up the Western Conference standings and have won six games in a row and lost only one over the last month.

Perhaps it is no coincidence that this exciting new chapter for the Warriors came after the addition of Jimmy Butler.

Butler has quickly become a vital part of the team and its success and Jonathan Kuminga spoke about that with the press on Thursday evening.

He said Butler on the floor “slows down” the game and allows other players to have more space.

“He makes everybody life easier,” Kuminga said, per 95.7 The Game.

Butler’s move to Golden State came at a time when fans were losing faith in their team.

The Warriors were in a tough spot, out of playoff contention, and nothing seemed to be going their way.

The addition of Butler was even lambasted by some because they felt his actions with the Miami Heat proved he might not be a team player and could create headaches.

Some said he was past his prime and had a bad attitude that could only hurt the Warriors.

But Butler has been solid since the trade, averaging 16.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists during his 14 games.

He has also played with a renewed sense of happiness and enthusiasm.

He is obviously delighted to be with Golden State and it’s showing.

Based on this comment from Kuminga, the rest of the roster is also joyful about Butler’s presence and this trade is now being praised by everyone, from analysts to fans.

Former Player Reveals Where Steph Curry Belongs In NBA History

Portland Trail Blazers v Golden State Warriors

There has been a conversation about Steph Curry and his place in NBA history recently.

Some people feel he is one of the best players to ever suit up in a jersey, and others feel that he isn’t in the top 10, although he is a wildly successful point guard and shooter.

Speaking on “Run It Back” Friday morning, former NBA star Chandler Parsons said Curry is definitely a top-10 player and one of the most beloved stars of all time.

“He’s been top-10. He’s the greatest point guard ever. He’s the greatest shooter ever. He’s a champion. He’s an Olympian,” Parsons said.

Parsons then went on to praise Curry’s personality and impact on the league.

"Steph Curry's been top-10. He's the greatest point guard ever. He's the greatest shooter ever…

Don't even begin to talk about the way he's loved…nobody in the world hates Steph Curry. Do you know how hard that is as a professional athlete?"

🗣
@ChandlerParsons pic.twitter.com/ZN27EFYGAc

— Run It Back (@RunItBackFDTV) March 14, 2025

He made the point that it’s rare to see an NBA player who is loved by just about everyone.

No matter where he goes and who he plays against, there are fans of Curry ready to cheer him on.

It’s not just because he is a flashy scorer and capable of amazing circus shots that have to be seen to be believed.

The love for Curry is also about the person he is, what he has done for the NBA, how he treats his fans and community, and more.

But when it comes to skills, Parsons feels Curry needs to be in the debate about the best players ever.

This season has had multiple examples of what makes Curry so great.

On Thursday night, for example, he became the first NBA player to earn 4,000 three-pointers in a career.

Meanwhile, his Golden State Warriors have surged back to life, partly because of his hard work and leadership.

Parsons and many others feel that Curry is far more than just a terrific shooter – he’s an all-time great player who will hold a special place in NBA history.

Steve Kerr Has Honest Admission About Draymond Green

New Orleans Pelicans v Golden State Warriors

Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has earned his fair share of critics over the years, but head coach Steve Kerr is not one of them.

Speaking with Dalton Johnson, Kerr had big praise for Green.

“He’s the best defender I’ve ever seen,” Kerr said, per NBACentral.

When you look at Green’s numbers, you may not think he’s such a strong defender.

This year, he is averaging 9.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.

But when you watch him on the court, you see what Kerr is talking about because Green has a natural talent for getting into the head of any opponent and finding ways to neutralize them.

Throughout his career, Green has been one of the most aggressive and confrontational players in the league.

In fact, it has gotten him into a lot of trouble, and his heated attitude has been too much at times, leading to multiple ejections, suspensions, and dozens of technical fouls.

This season, Green has once again been the glue that has held the Warriors together.

He is a major part of the team’s chemistry and has a close bond with just about everyone he plays with.

Green recently suggested that he wants to win Defensive Player of the Year again, a prize he first earned in 2016-17.

Competition for that award is tough, but Kerr thinks he should be in the running.

No matter your opinion of Green, he is obviously a defender who makes a difference for his team.

Kerr thinks he’s the best to ever do it, and many Warriors fans agree with him.

Will Green earn Defensive Player of the Year this season or in the seasons ahead?

That’s not known, but he will obviously continue to play his heart out.

Rob Parker Says Steph Curry Isn’t The Greatest Shooter Of All-Time

Sacramento Kings v Golden State Warriors

(Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images)

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors has more three-pointers than any other NBA player ever and it’s not even close at this point.

He is also a four-time champion and multiple MVP.

Because of that, a lot of people consider Curry the best shooter of all time, as well as one of the greatest guards to suit up.

But Rob Parker doesn’t buy it and feels he isn’t the best shooter in NBA history.

“He’s just not the greatest shooter of all-time. That’s where we’re going to put this… When you call someone the greatest shooter, it means under any circumstance, you would want them to have the ball when you need a basket…I would give Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Michael Jordan, any of those people, the ball with the game on the line before I gave it to Steph Curry,” Parker said, per NBACentral.

Parker points to some postseason games when Curry had the chance to tie or win games with a shot and fell short.

Because of that, he doesn’t trust Curry with the ball as much as Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, and Michael Jordan.

Allen, Miller, and Jordan are obviously all historic icons of the game and expert shooters, but a lot of people feel that Curry has surpassed all of them.

It’s not just because he has more threes than anyone else, it’s also because of his shot selection and the sometimes magical way he can always find the basket.

When Curry is on a tear, it feels like he is unstoppable, no matter where he is on the court.

The debate around the Warriors star has heated up lately as retirement grows closer.

There are more fans discussing his place in league history and if he’s one of the top ten players to ever compete.

You can expect even more conversations like this about Curry in the future.

Former Player Makes A Bold Claim About Draymond Green

Portland Trail Blazers v Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors took down the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night even though they lost Steph Curry to injury after 25 minutes.

One of the reasons why the Warriors pulled off a 117-114 win was because of Draymond Green, who was surprisingly robust with points, scoring 21 points along with his seven rebounds, and five assists.

Speaking on “Run It Back,” per NBACentral, Chandler Parsons said that the Warriors typically don’t need Green to score like that, and he is helpful for plenty of other reasons.

However, Parsons said that if Green had played for a team like the Charlotte Hornets or Washington Wizards early in his career, he could have averaged about 20 or 22 points per game.

Green’s season average right now is 9.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.7 assists, which is very different from the 21 points he put up on Thursday.

Green doesn’t often score that much, and he doesn’t have to.

The Warriors squad is filled with a bunch of strong offensive threats, led by perhaps the most important offensive player of this generation: Curry.

Green has a totally different task when he’s on the court: he is supposed to shut down defense and facilitate plays.

When it comes to doing that, Green is one of the most important players in the NBA.

Some people might look at his stat line and wonder why people talk about him as a future Hall of Famer.

But Green’s greatness isn’t because of his scoring, it’s because of how he shuts down his opponents.

However, the Warriors now might be without Curry if his injury is severe.

If that’s the case, Golden State may call on Green to do more than defend.

Warriors Have A Strong Record Since Trading For Jimmy Butler

Portland Trail Blazers v Golden State Warriors

Just a few weeks ago, a lot of people had written the Golden State Warriors off and figured their season was over.

Now they are the sixth seed in their conference and playing like true playoff contenders again.

Jimmy Butler is a huge reason why things are going so well for the team and they have been on a great run since he was traded.

As noted by Legion Hoops, the Warriors are now 15-3 since trading for Butler.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have gone 4-16.

After all the drama, rumors, and speculation, it looks like Butler coming to the Warriors was a great move for the organization.

pic.twitter.com/sOM5VijpWg

— Legion Hoops (@LegionHoops) March 20, 2025

Golden State’s latest win was over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, when Butler posted 24 points and 10 assists.

Since coming to the Warriors, he has averaged 17.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.

Those numbers are all better than what he was doing with the Heat before the highly controversial trade.

Butler isn’t the only reason the Warriors are doing well, but he has clearly added something special to his new team.

And all of this is happening at the perfect time because the playoffs are just a few weeks away.

There was a time when it looked like the Warriors would miss the postseason entirely, and now they hold the sixth seed and would bypass the Play-In Tournament entirely if it started today.

The Warriors have to keep it up if they want to storm into the playoffs, which is no easy task.

But they have looked very cohesive and strong lately, and their energy and chemistry are better.

Butler is obviously a very welcome presence on the team and they’re happy he’s there.

That is a valid question, especially when the Golden State Warriors star makes amazing, hard-to-believe circus shots.

He performed another one recently, which was shared on X via a video from Overtime.

He is shooting 44.7 percent from the field, which is down just slightly from last year (45.0 percent).

He may not be reaching the career high of 50.4 percent, which he achieved during the 2015-16 season but Curry is still one of the most reliable shooters in the league.

And many people believe he is the greatest shooter in the history of the league.

He has more three-pointers than anyone else and has repeatedly reminded people that he can score from anywhere on the court.

The Warriors have been surging lately, but they are currently without Curry, who recently got hurt during a game against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry should be ready to play again soon, and the Warriors will gladly welcome him back.

They are always better when Curry is on the court, and this video is a prime example of why.

He would be silly to attempt something like this during a game but this unbelievable shot is just more proof of how wildly talented Curry is.

Jimmy Butler Gets Honest About His Return To Miami

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - MARCH 22: Jimmy Butler III #10 of the Golden State Warriors sets up a shot during the third quarter against the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena on March 22, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia.

It’s been weeks since the Golden State Warriors traded for Jimmy Butler.

However, it will take a while before people forget about his feud with the Miami Heat.

The star guard/forward had a very public fallout with his former team.

That’s why, now that the Warriors will face the Heat for the first time since the trade, he was obviously asked his thoughts ahead of that matchup.

Butler, however, didn’t care about squaring off vs. his former teammates, and he claimed that it was all in the past (via NBA on ESPN).

— NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) March 23, 2025

Of course, that’s hard to believe.

NBA players are competitors who often love to go off when they go against their former teams, especially when things don’t end well.

Butler is known for his competitiveness and harshness, so he will most definitely have something special prepared to remind Pat Riley of the player he could’ve had and lost.

The Heat have free-fallen since Butler left, whereas the Warriors have only lost two games with him in the lineup.

Butler led the Heat to the NBA Finals twice, but they couldn’t finish the job vs. the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets.

The Warriors traded for him to make another run at a championship in Stephen Curry’s prime, and while it seemed far-fetched at first, they’ve looked like a championship contender since his arrival.

It’ll be interesting to see how far they can go this season, and that first game vs. the Heat will most definitely be must-watch television for NBA fans all over the world.

There Is A New Betting Favorite To Win DPOY

Dallas Mavericks v San Antonio Spurs, Game 1

When Victor Wembanyama suffered a season-ending injury, it didn’t just change things for the San Antonio Spurs, it changed things for everyone.

The race for Defensive Player of the Year became wide open when Wembanyama was hurt and there is now a new frontrunner, according to Polymarket Sports.

Legion Hoops is reporting that Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has surpassed Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Those two are followed by Dyson Daniels and Jaren Jackson Jr.

With just a few weeks to go, the competition for this coveted prize is heating up.

Green holds 52.4 percent, followed by Mobley with 41.7 percent.

That means he has a pretty sizable advantage over his nearest competitor.

He has been putting up some of his strongest numbers in years, averaging 9.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.

But it’s not just the stats that have been impressive.

Green has been playing with a level of intensity and on-court knowledge that is hard to overcome.

Everyone knows he has a natural talent for getting under the skin of his competitors, but Green has taken it to a whole other level this year.

He is still one of the brashest trash-talkers in the NBA, and he is also posting 1.1 blocks per game.

That means he isn’t just upsetting people, he’s literally stopping them.

The Warriors have been on a roll lately.

After being counted out by many, they are once again back in the hunt for a playoff spot and are feared by their Western Conference competition.

Green has been as aggressive as ever this year, but he’s also been smarter and more selective about his choices, which clearly helps his team.

He was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and has publicly said he’d like to win it again.

Will this be the year?

Victor Oladipo Names The Best NBA Player Ever

Miami Heat v Philadelphia 76ers

Victor Oladipo spent years in the NBA, playing against some of the strongest competitors in the world.

These days, he is making a name for himself as a commentator speaking about the game.

Oladipo recently revealed his pick for the greatest player of all time, and it’s someone who has been talked about a lot lately: Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

“I would consider him the best ever,” Oladipo said, per NBACentral, claiming that Curry quite literally changed the way people play in the NBA.

Oladipo said that Curry should be playing golf instead of basketball, which is just one of the things that makes him so special.

Yes, Curry is built more like a golf player than a basketball star, but there is no doubt that he has altered the makeup of the league, what fans enjoy, and how players perform.

The general consensus among most NBA followers is that Curry is the best shooter to ever play the game.

He has the most three-point shots in league history and has repeatedly dismantled defensive plans over the years.

Again and again, Curry has shown what a great shooter can do.

As his retirement grows closer, people are debating his place in league history, with some feeling he is not a top-ten player while others, like Oladipo, think his impact is huge.

Questions about Curry’s greatness compared to others will only become more common once he hangs up his jersey for good.

Oladipo got to see him up close and remains in awe of what Curry can do.

To him, he is the best to ever do it, but the debate continues.

Jimmy Butler Gets Honest About Heat’s Tribute To Him

Golden State Warriors v Atlanta Hawks

Jimmy Butler returned to Miami on Tuesday night, and the Heat provided him a warm welcome.

The team played a tribute video for Butler, highlighting his many career accomplishments during his time in Miami.

Following the game, Butler spoke to the press about the game and the video that was played in his honor.

“The video was nice. But I won’t say there were a lot of emotions,” Butler said, per NBA on ESPN.

— NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) March 26, 2025

After the video played, Butler stood and waved to the crowd, who actually applauded him and seemed fairly happy to see him.

To some, this was a surprise because things did not end well between Butler and the Heat.

By the time he finally left the team, the relationship between Butler and the front office was completely ruined and it seemed they would be enemies forever.

Instead, Butler wasn’t treated too poorly, at least by the fans.

The Warriors, on the other hand, were completely dismantled by the Heat and were beaten 112-86.

The Heat have been losing a lot lately, but they have now won two in a row, and the chance to defeat their former teammate was too tantalizing for them to pass up.

They performed very well on both ends of the court, and Butler and his team looked completely outplayed.

During the game, Butler posted 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

Now that this game is out of the way, Butler and the Heat can focus on attempting to climb higher in the Western Conference standings before the playoffs begin.

They are currently without Steph Curry, but he should be back soon, and that will greatly help their chances.

The Heat weren’t kind to the Warriors during Tuesday’s game, but they tried to treat Butler well.

However, it sounds like their warm reception didn’t have a very strong impact on him.

Marcus Morris Sr. Names The Most Feared Player In The NBA

Cleveland Cavaliers v Boston Celtics - Game One

Who is the most feared player in the NBA right now?

That’s a tough question that doesn’t have a clear answer, but Marcus Morris Sr. gave his opinion on Thursday morning.

Speaking on ESPN, via NBACentral, Morris said it’s not Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors who everyone fears.

Instead, he claimed that Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers is the scariest guy in the NBA.

Stephen A. Smith, who has said a few harsh things about Leonard over the years, wasn’t happy to hear this, but Morris defended his choice.

Morris agreed that Curry is an offensive threat unlike any other.

He is definitely one of the best guards to ever play the game, according to Morris.

But Leonard is different and more intimidating because he can do it all.

It doesn’t matter if he is tasked with an offensive or defensive play, Leonard can get it done.

The same cannot be said for Curry, Morris claimed, because the Warriors superstar is a liability on defense.

Morris made sure to stress the fact that Leonard has to be healthy for this to be true, and most people agree that’s a problem for him.

He is undoubtedly a terrific NBA star, but he has a hard time remaining on the court because of his various injuries.

Smith wasn’t buying it, but Morris believes that Leonard is different and strikes fear into all his opponents.

Right now, he is healthy and playing terrific basketball before the playoffs.

Can Leonard stay in good shape and be the frightening presence Morris says he is for the entire postseason?
