Happy hump day, Dallas Stars fans. We have quite a bit to cover, so let’s get started: And…yeah. Unfortunately, Big Bich’s extended absence is no rumor. Still no update on Segs’ condition — but meanwhile, from the Don’t Remind Me Department: Heckin’ yeah Robo’s still on a heater. Look at this dude. Look at him. (While you’re at it, look at the Central…here’s a subtle…

Dallas Stars Daily Links: Thursday, December 4

Not today, Satan. Good morning, Stars fans! It’s a mixed bag this morning, as we’re riding high on a franchise record 12-game road points streak after last night’s shellacking of New Jersey – while on the other hand going through the injury-pocalypse that has engulfed the team. The big news yesterday was obviously the Tyler Seguin ACL bombshell that will likely keep him out for months…

Stars beat Sharks 4-1

For a team overburdened with injuries, the Stars put up a solid game against the Sharks and left the ice with two more points added to their stat sheet. The game started at a crawl, with both teams putting up single-digit shots on goals in the first period. According to head coach Glen Gulutzan, Jake Oettinger literally did not break a sweat in the opening twenty minutes.

Dallas beats Pittsburgh in shootout

The Stars were able to squeeze a 3-2 win out against the Penguins Sunday evening at home after a rocky sixty minutes of regulation. The Stars welcomed back two key players who had been out of the lineup for weeks. Forward Matt Duchene and defenseman Nils Lundkvist were thrown right back into the swing of things in a game that never seemed fully in Dallas’ control.

Dallas Stars Daily Links: Monday, December 8

Happy Victory Monday, Dallas Stars fans! Let’s see what’s happening in the Stars infoverse: Dutchy sounds almost as relieved to be back on the ice as Stars fans are to see him there. You probably wanted to see this (checks for Razorism) “scorching weapons-grade slapper” again. On repeat. For at least the rest of the day. The whole dang Stars organization got in on…

Stargazing, A Dallas Stars Puckcast – Episode 307: Numbers Game

With Tyler Seguin’s season-ending injury, the Dallas Stars face a challenge above and beyond even their other well-documented woes in the man-games-lost department in 2026-27. The question now is how they will try to fill his roster spot…unless, perhaps, the real question is whether they need to at all. Any time there’s this much money involved, Wes and Mark know what to do — and that’s to…

Dallas Stars Daily Links: Friday, December 12

Hey, Harls is back. It was bound to happen at some point – the dominant run the Dallas Stars have been on for – checks notes – over a month now couldn’t go without a blip forever. And that’s just what we got last night in Minnesota – a blip. It happens. Let’s look on the bright side, shall we? Folks, that is unreal. Special teams has been so good lately for the Stars.

Stars lose to Florida 4-0

Dallas fell to the two-time Stanley Cup champions Saturday night 4-0, marking the team’s first shutout loss of the season. The Stars shifted into gear immediately, and moved the puck efficiently at the beginning of the first period, with a couple scoring chances from Radek Faksa. Those did not count towards the shots on goal tally, and the period ended with two for Dallas and three for…

Stargazing, A Dallas Stars Puckcast – Episode 308: Texas Stars Fall Update 2025

The Dallas Stars are having themselves a season, injuries and roster holes and recent losses notwithstanding. But this year, that success has come at an organizational cost — and their brethren in Cedar Park have often been the ones paying it. Mark Zimmerman loves discussing the Texas Stars, and even more so when he can enlist Stephen Meserve to talk with. Late last week, the founder of the…

Dallas Stars Daily Links: Tuesday, December 16

Headbutts all around. Don’t call it a bounce back. It was a weird one though, right? I haven’t gotten to watch the broadcast yet, but from inside the AAC, there were strange vibes all around. After a mostly uneventful first period, things started to get chippy toward the end of it, when a goal was called off as Mikko Rantanen ran into Darcy Keumper just outside the crease.
