The New Orleans Pelicans recently signed Kevon Looney to a two-year, $16 million contract, joining a frontcourt that features Yves Missi, Derik Queen, Zion Williamson, and more. Imperfect 10: Pelicans Extend Summer Skid to 10 Straight Games

After leading by as many as 10 points early, the New Orleans Pelicans were routed by the Oklahoma City Thunder, 95-81, dropping the Pelicans to 0-4 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League. New Orleans led 20-10 early, but Oklahoma City dominated the final three quarters. The Thunder shot 46% from the field and 35% from deep while the Pelicans made just 37% of their shots and 23% on triples. OKC doubled up New Orleans in steals, 10-5, and points off turnovers, 18-9.
