Panthers roll to 6-1 rout over undisciplined Oilers

After two toughies in Edmonton, the Florida Panthers returned home and blew the Oilers out of the building by a 6-1 count in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise. Game 2 hero Brad Marchand opened the scoring 56 seconds in when he beat a swimming Stuart Skinner after Anton Lundell caused chaos in front after an offensive zone faceoff win.

Tuesday Caterwaul: Barkov wins Selke and King Clancy trophies

Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov was announced as the winner of the Selke Trophy (for the second straight season) and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy on Monday. Barkov was the top choice on 96 of the 191 ballots for the Selke Trophy, which is awarded annually to the forward who demonstrates the most skill in the defensive component of the game, and finished with 1,363 voting points.

Wednesday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers will enjoy an extra day off today after the Cats pounded the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl winners by a 6-1 count on Monday at Amerant Bank Arena to take a two games to lead in the series. Panthers slated to open the draft with the 112th pick (expectations should be low)

The 112th overall pick first became a thing in 1970, when the open-ended NHL Amateur Draft lumbered through a total of thirteen rounds. Panthers add six prospects on Day 2 of NHL Draft

The Florida Panthers added six prospects on the second day of the 2025 NHL Draft at Peacock Theater In Los Angeles. After sitting out the first three rounds, the Panthers selected Danish forward Mads Kongsbak Klyvo midway through the fourth round with the 112th overall pick. Klyvo scored 14 goals and added 15 assists in 42 games for Vastra Frolunda in Sweden’s J20 league.
