Pacers build 41-point halftime lead and rout Cavaliers 129-109 for a 3-1 series lead

The Indiana Pacers spent two days looking for solutions against top-seeded Cleveland. Pascal Siakam scored 21 points, Myles Turner and Obi Toppin each scored 20 and the Pacers tied an NBA playoff record with a 41-point halftime lead before blowing out the Cavs 129-109 to take a 3-1 series lead. The No. 4-seeded Pacers can close it out Tuesday in Cleveland, where they've already won twice. “We haven't done anything yet,” coach Rick Carlisle said after earning his 33rd playoff win with Indiana, passing Larry Bird for the most in the franchise's NBA history.

Tyrese Haliburton Credits Rick Carlisle For One Key Element in Pacers Dominant Game 4

Indiana Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton credited head coach Rick Carlisle for his energy in the postseason following the Pacers' 129-109 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday evening. "I feel like coach is a savant when it comes to adjustments and getting the best out of guys and I think we kind of just follow that lead," Haliburton said to IndyStar. The Pacers responded in a big way in Game 4 after they dropped Game 3 on Friday, leading by as many as 44 points and now allowing the visitors to take a lead during the contest despite Benedict Mathurin's first-quarter ejection.

Fans can't believe WWE predicted Tyrese Haliburton, Jalen Brunson ECF

After appearing on multiple brands over multiple different dates, WWE finally found Tyrese Haliburton an opponent more his speed on an episode of SmackDown when, after teaming up with LA Knight as a special guest manager, the Indiana Pacers' guard went face to face with none other than New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson. The match, which didn't actually feature any physicality between the two guards, was nonetheless topical, as it took place in the wake of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, when the two sides faced off in the pursuit of the Eastern Conference's spot in the NBA Finals. Hali and Brunson stared each other down, got to do their best Superstar impressions, including the use of a steel chair, and ultimately left with the promise that one day, the two men would meet again.

Pacers return to conference finals with something to prove

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton started this season intent on quieting anyone who considered last year's Eastern Conference finals run a fluke. Now that the Pacers are back, Haliburton and his teammates have a new goal: Proving to themselves they were right all along about how good these Pacers could be. “You heard (Boston coach) Joe Mazzulla this year say Indiana was our toughest opponent,” Haliburton said after Friday's practice.

STYLES MAKE FIGHTS | In Knicks-Pacers conference final, talent meets tempo

Maybe the Indiana Pacers aren’t a fluke. Maybe they’re for real. Maybe building a roster for the long haul — one designed to win wars of attrition — is the true counter to teams stacked with top-heavy star power. The difference between the two franchises meeting in the Eastern Conference Finals — nearly 25 years to the day since their last showdown — is clearest on the payroll. The Knicks’ ...

Rick Carlisle's changing style has helped Pacers reach 2nd straight Eastern Conference finals

Indiana Pacers coach Rick Carlisle still prefers brutal honesty to nuance. It's not who he is — and these young Pacers embrace it. Yes, after winning nearly 1,000 regular season games, one NBA title and surviving 23 up-and-down seasons as an NBA head coach, Carlisle has seemingly found the perfect fit in a locker room that views a tough, demand coaching through a more genteel prism.

The Pacers found a pressure point and it might be catastrophic for the Knicks

The Knicks have plenty of film to watch after blowing Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It will be a painful few days for the Knicks as they sit and pick apart their mistakes, which there were many of. It will be particularly painful for Jalen Brunson, who was relentlessly targeted on defense by the Pacers, something the Knicks will have to find an answer for if they want to turn this series around.
