Just in case you're wondering

I would be shocked if he didn't win it. No matter how much you hate King James, you have to recognize the fact that he is the best all-around player in the NBA this season, just like last season, so he deserves to win the MVP award once more. :)

Yeah, even if he were to get an injury now and be out for a month, he'd still most likely be a shoe-in for MVP.

you have to give it to him, look at those numbers hes putting, lebron is just a pure athlete and hes not even in his prime yet.

Am I crazy to say he is the best player in NBA history? I think he is going to be. :D

i think hes going to be better than jordan, lebron is stronger/faster/better than mj

I think Michael Jordan is overrated, honestly. He is one of the best of all-time, but there really isn't anything about him that puts him over other greats. I feel like it is an unrealistic viewpoint to put Michael Jordan as the best of all-time, without a doubt. I think Wilt Chamberlain would have something to say if he was alive today. Does anyone remember his historical 100 point game? ;)

who doesnt, to be honest i rather have wilt or russell over MJ. 2 of the best dominant big mens of all time, is funny how mj chose kobe over lebron, cause of the rings. if is like that bill russell is the greastest of all time

Yeah, Bill Russell has eleven rings. I would take Wilt Chamberlain over Michael Jordan, but I don't know about Bill Russell, as I don't know a lot about him. LeBron James was interviewed about this not that long ago, and he pretty much said the same thing.

Yeah Lebron will win MVP. Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, and Carmelo Anthony would be the next three players though in my opinion.

I would like to throw in Larry Bird if we're talking about possible "greatest of all time" players.

LeBron is a very special NBA player, but to prove he's even better than Kobe he has to win at least 3 titles to be considered Kobe's level or better depending on his stats.

I wouldn't. Wilt was an asshole who put himself over the team and winning on numerous occasions and Bill Russel was one of the worst offensive players of all time. And before we debate about his defense; remember, Russel was 6'9 playing with a league of white guys.

Plus, you can only compare eras to to an extent and looking at Jordan, Russel and Wilt, Jordan is better than both.

You say that like Michael Jordan wasn't known for being a ball hog either. He had Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen, but he was never big on being a team player and sharing the ball.

Sure but Jordan also shot 50% from the floor and was depended on as their go-to-guy. And you should know players before you start referencing them; Denniss Rodman wasn't very good on the offensive end. And honestly, besides Jordan, only Pippen and maybe Toni Kukoc were decent on the offensive side while on the Bulls.

I only mentioned Rodman and Pippen because they seem to be the two most notable players that Michael Jordan has played with it. He still had a decent field goal percentage during his career. He is someone who could have probably scored more if Michael Jordan would have passed the ball inside to him a little more, which is exactly what I was getting at. ;)

Jordan averaged like 6apg from 89 to 95... What exactly do you want from him?
