Per a report from Bookies.com, the Jacksonville Jaguars should rack up some serious travel perks during the 2025 season, as the team will travel the fourth most of all NFL teams, behind only the Los Angeles Chargers, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Seattle Seahawks.

NFL 2025-26 MILES TRAVELED

The 32 NFL teams will cover a total of 625,947 miles this season, averaging 19,561 per team, and 2,301 per trip. 6 NFL teams will travel more miles than it takes to go around the world.

With the AFC South facing off against both the West divisions in 2025 (the NFC West Rams, Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and San Francisco 49ers and the AFC West Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers) many of the teams with added international games have somewhat of a tougher road slate to conquer. The Chargers and Rams both have longer international matchups, with LA facing off against the Chiefs in San Paolo, Brazil for their season opener and LA playing Jacksonville in London in week four. However, notably, the Seahawks have the most domestic miles traveled to road games with all 31,302 of their airline miles played within the states.

With Jacksonville’s annual trip to Wembley Stadium in London, the Jaguars’ longest road trip of the 2025 season is their week four, United Kingdom matchup against the Rams. While this game is also the Rams’ longest trek of the year at 10,883 miles, it is still arguably more favorable for Jacksonville, with LA traveling 2,359 more miles than the Jaguars for the same trip. This amounts to an additional 4 and one half to five hours in the air for the Los Angeles. Note: you could fly directly from Jacksonville to Seattle, Washington in 5 hours, 19 minutes, for a little context.

In addition to their UK trek, the Jaguars also face the 49ers in San Francisco, the Raiders in Vegas, the Cardinals in Glendale, Arizona, and the Broncos in Denver. Unfortunately, each of those road trips are spread out for Jacksonville, ruling out any two-week stays on the West Coast to assist with jet lag.

  • San Franciso 49ers: Week 4
  • Los Angeles Rams (London): Week 7
  • Las Vegas Raiders: Week 9
  • Arizona Cardinals: Week 12
  • Denver Broncos: Week 16

Away games, ordered from longest to shortest trips:

  • Los Angeles Rams (London): Week 7 – 8,524 miles
  • San Franciso 49ers: Week 4 – 4,693 miles
  • Arizona Cardinals: Week 12 – 3,606 miles
  • Denver Broncos: Week 16 – 2,936 miles
  • Houston Texans: Week 10 – 1,649 miles
  • Indianapolis Colts: Week 17 – 1,401 miles
  • Cincinnati Bengals: Week 2 – 1,255 miles
  • Tennessee Titans: Week 13 – 1,003 miles

As an additional note, Jacksonville’s week two opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals have the least travel miles in the NFL at 8,753 in 2025. The Jaguars face off with them in Cincinnati for Jacksonville’s second-shortest road trip of the season.

So, Jacksonville is near the top of the league in total travel miles, however, with a week 8 bye it seems potentially manageable. Jet lag and acclimation are definitely a thing, but winning franchises find a way to win, no matter the challenge, right? What are your thoughts on this road slate, Jaguars fans?
