NBA Trade Idea Sends Ja Morant to Celtics in Superstar Swap

Will Ja Morant be with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2025? After a season plagued by injuries and off-court issues, former All-Star guard Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies found themselves victims of the Oklahoma City Thunder via a first-round sweep during their first-round playoff series. With the rumor mill swirling around Morant's future with the Grizzlies, could a major injury to Jayson Tatum, coupled with new owners likely to want to shed some money, see the Boston Celtics as outside-the-box players in the Ja Morant sweepstakes?

Ja Morant Makes Rare Message on NBA MVP Race

The NBA MVP race appears to be down to two players: Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. While both players have deserving cases, it almost seems like more is on the line for the two stars heading into Sunday's Game 7, where they go head-to-head for a chance to make the Western Conference Finals. For Jokic, winning would give him his fourth league MVP, cementing him as one of the greatest centers in NBA history, as he'd join Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only big men to do so.

NBA Trade Idea Sends Ja Morant To Top Western Conference Team

The Memphis Grizzlies' 2024-25 season was surely an interesting one, as the hopes were sky high heading into the All-Star break as the second seed in the Western Conference. On top of that, the Grizzlies suffered a historic Game 1 defeat from the Oklahoma City Thunder, and then were swept to cap off a season that leaves the team with plenty of questions this offseason. After making a major change by firing head coach Taylor Jenkins before the end of the season, the organization could look to part ways with certain key players during the offseason. One player that continues to be the talking point of conversations in Memphis is Ja Morant.

NBA insider reports latest on Nico Harrison's job security with Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks fans have been calling for general manager Nico Harrison to be fired ever since he traded Luka Doncic away in February to the Los Angeles Lakers in return for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and just one future first-round pick. It's as stunning of a deal as we've ever seen in NBA history, as Doncic never wanted to leave Dallas and is one of the greatest players in the league. Harrison made some changes to the training staff, firing athletic performance director Keith Belton and head athletic trainer Dionne Calhoun.

Grizzlies Star Reveals Getting Uninvited From Steph Curry's Camp

The Golden State Warriors have created a dynasty over the last decade and then some, winning four NBA Championships since Steve Kerr's arrival as head coach. While his arrival triggered their winning ways, it's clear that star guard Steph Curry has been the main reason for their success. Capturing two league MVPs in the process, he'll go down as one of the greatest players in NBA history. Unfortunately, Curry's career won't last forever, as he's 37 years old and will be 38 by the end of next season.

Nine-Year NBA Veteran's Statement On Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat Feud

The Miami Heat found themselves in a tricky spot entering the 2024-25 NBA season, as they did not agree to terms on a new contract for star Jimmy Butler and were hoping he'd play out the remainder of his deal without issue. While Butler helped turn the Warriors' season around, they fell in the second round of the playoffs to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After his performance there, Heat legend Dwyane Wade called out Butler for his lack of production, backing up Pat Riley's decision not to pay him.
