Okay, to start it off.

I just bought a Hines Ward UD Choice 1998 rookie card off of eBay. I generally don't feel comfortable buying any Upper Deck cards with the shape the company has been in these past few years, but considering it was a steal for a dollar or two I couldn't resist. I wanted to buy a rookie card before he retires. When players retire, that's when the demand for their cards seem to go up. So, I got it cheaper before the demand brought the prices up. Supply and demand lessons, yes? Surprisingly, there are a lot of Hines Ward rookie cards on eBay for as low as around $0.99. I question why; he's a definite hall of famer.

My Brother and I have begun to collect MLB Topps Heritage. I would say I have about 150 of them and that includes a 2008 Bob Gibson Game-Used Pants Card that my brother pulled a month from yesterday. It goes for around $40 on eBay.

Cmt, would you mind PMing me the link to some Hines Ward RCs? I can't find any for that cheap.

I don't have any links. Just search around. Upper Deck cards seem to be going cheaper because of the company's condition.

Okay, here's everything I've gotten on eBay these past few days.

So... How much money was all this? Around $50, counting shipping. Also, I made a deal with my mother that if she pays $20 of it I will give her my $25 Old Navy gift card I got for Christmas from one of my cousins. She said yes. So, I really only spent $30 for all this. I'm generally the frugal kind of guy who never really spends money, but when I came across a sale at favorite eBay sports card store, I couldn't resist. I think of it like an investment. Take note to the fact that most of the cards I bought are of players that aren't in the hall of fame, but probably will be soon. Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling, Luis Gonzalez (maybe), etc. Jason Taylor, Julius Peppers, etc.

I received a Wes Matthews rookie patch auto #/720. It's the one in the middle, but it's the "H" from his jersey instead of the "H".

Also, this DeMarcus Cousins rookie dual jersey #/299.
