I also bought a 1995 Action Packed Steve McNair rookie card. For the three cards, it was $1.52 with free shipping. I also bought a 2010 Topps All-Star Workout Jersey card of Rafael Soriano. It's not numbered or anything. It was $1.21, counting shipping.
Nice jersey CMT! That is a steal!!

I recently bought a 2008 Donruss Threads #117 Brad James rookie auto serially numbered 1103/1999. Brad James is a pitching prospect in the Astros farm system. It was $0.49 with free shipping.

I bought two of those $9.99 packages that have three packs and one memorabilia card at Target while I was on vacation. These type of things are a total rip-off, but I was having a bad last day of vacation, so I figured opening a few packs of cards would make me feel better. :P

Anyways, here's the two jersey cards I got:

2008 Upper Deck SPX Limited Winning Materials Vladimir Guerrero jersey card numbered 04/99.
2008 Topps Allen & Ginter Adam Dunn jersey card not numbered.

Not much came out of the packs, but I got a couple things:

2007 Fleer Ultra Iron Man Cal Ripken Jr. insert card.
2007 Fleer Ultra Rookies Hunter Pence insert rookie card.
2007 Fleer Ultra Rookies Juan Salas insert rookie card.
2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Pure Heat Cole Hamels insert card.
2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Biography Jamie Moyer insert card.
2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Biography Zach Duke insert card.
2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Baseball Heroes Hanley Ramirez insert card.
2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Cesar Ramos rookie card.
2010 Upper Deck Series 1 Drew Stubbs rookie card.

This was definitely not worth $20.00 with what things are going for on eBay these days, but opening a few packs is much more fun than having a $20.00 shopping spree on eBay in my opinion. Also, my PayPal account is still empty. :P

I have not really done anything related to sports cards lately, but I bought a Score 2006 Matt Leinart rookie card for $0.11 and free shipping a couple weeks ago. I got it in the mail last week.

I'm thinking of buying a box of 12/13 Prestige basketball soon. I need base for getting autographs at Blazer games and I haven't bought a hobby box in awhile.

I decided I am going to start collecting cards of Vanderbilt alumni, especially autographs, jersey cards, and other hits. If you guys have any cards of Vanderbilt alumni that you might be interested in trading or selling dirt cheap, let me know. I'm currently bidding on a Prestige 12/13 Prestigious Picks Festus Ezeli auto on eBay. I'm planning on getting at least one auto card of all three of the NBA rookies from Vanderbilt: John Jenkins, Jeffery Taylor, and Festus Ezeli.

I just purchased a 2007 Donruss Elite Casey Weathers auto for my Vanderbilt alumni collection. I remember going to see this guy pitch against the Florida Gators a few years ago. He was a beast. Anyways, he has now been in the minors for five years, so I doubt he'll ever be in the pros. He had Tommy John surgery in 2008 and I think that kind of killed his career. I was unable to get the Festus Ezeli auto. The bid went up over my budget in the last few hours of it. I'm now bidding on a 2008 Topps Progressive Earl Bennett auto. I don't think I will have a problem getting it.

I got my 2008 Topps Progression Signatures Earl Bennett rookie auto in the mail yesterday. Another card in my Vanderbilt alumni collection. :)

Yeah, it looks like a really nice set I don't know when or what box I'll get. Most likely I will get 12/13 Prestige.

For some reason I am obsessed with getting baseball cards from 1955. I've gotten one off of eBay and already had one in my collection. It's hard to get them for cheap because I am only buying the when they are in atleast NM condition. I judge if a card is NM myself, because PSA certifieds are way too expensive. The card I bought on eBay was 3.29 including shipping.

I also picked up a 1975 Willie Stargell/Reggie Jackson League Leaders card for 55 cents.

I went on a bit of an eBay shopping spree last week, spending about $10. I paid $2.99 with free shipping for a 2011 Panini Prime Cuts Grayson Garvin auto. Grayson Garvin is a relief pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays farm system. He's also a Vanderbilt alumni, so this card is an addition to my Vanderbilt collection. I also paid $1.99 for two Andre Brown jersey cards. Both of them are from 2009 Panini, and they are both numbered out of 250. One is from Performers and the other is from Next Generation. I also paid $1.49 for a 2011 Panini Prime Cuts Hanley Ramirez jersey card numbered 72 out of 199. Next, I got a 2008 Topps Update Michael Young all-star jersey card for $1.49. I also got a 2009 Sage Hit Sammie Stroughter auto for $.99. Lastly, I got a 2008 Donruss Gridiron Gear Santonio Holmes jersey card numbered 115 out of 250. All of this had free shipping. :D
