This makes me mad....

Who do the Yankees have?

Ha. Good one. A.J. Brunett, Mariano Rivera, CC Sabathia, Jorge Posada, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixeira, Nick Swisher. Just to name our best.

A.J. Brunett: Total fail last year
Mariano Rivera: Great pitcher but Feliz is almost as good
Alex Rodriguez: Totally over rated. He has great stats but never delivers in situations. His playoffs are embarrassing and his defense is not getting better...in fact they aren't good at all...His hip seems to be bothering him more.
Jorge Posada: Great player in his day but getting old. Has trouble throwing people out now.
Derek Jeter: Only a shell of his once great self. Can still hit the ball well but running and fielding he looks old.
Mark Teixeira: Great Player
Nick Swisher: ASS

Phillies got Lee!! I'm actually kinda happy. As long as he doesn't go to the Yankees.

A's signed Hideki Matsui.

Former Twin.

Kerry Wood signed with the Cubs, I was glad when I saw that he was going back to Chicago.

Ty Wiggington signed with the Rockies.

The D'backs added Henry Blanco and Xavier Nady.

The Padres signed former Twin Orlando Hudson to replace David Eckstein.

Bill Hall signed with the Astros.

Red Sox added Dan Wheeler to their bull-pen.

But the biggest free agency news (in my opinion) for this week is the Twins signing Japanese short-stop/2nd baseman Tsuyoshi Nishioka. Nishioka led the Pacific league (in Japan) with a .346 batting average. This is a big pick-up for the Twins, since they lost Hudson and JJ Hardy. Nishioka could fill either one of those spots.
