Brook Lopez is about to start his first season with the Los Angeles Clippers, and he has decided on his jersey number.

According to Etienne Catalan, Lopez will wear No. 11 for the Clippers, which was last used by Jordan Miller in 2025.

Is this the beginning of a successful run with the Clippers?

Lopez was one of the biggest targets for multiple teams when the offseason began.

The Milwaukee Bucks clearly weren’t going to work hard to keep Lopez, and numerous teams were eager to sign him and gain his expertise and years of experience.

Lopez may be getting older, but he’s still a hugely influential player.

Last season, he averaged 13.0 points and 5.0 rebounds on 50.9 percent from the field.

He participated in 80 games and actually played more minutes last season than in the years before.

Lopez obviously still has a lot to give, and the Clippers are excited to see what he can do.

They have been trying to find a stable, reliable, and consistent lineup, and they were looking better last season.

They want to build upon the success they found and do even more.

They believe that Lopez can help with that and will use him often.

He is just one of multiple new stars coming to Los Angeles, and expectations are very high.

This may be the last team Lopez plays for, so he definitely wants to make it count.

Now that he has settled on his jersey number, Lopez will get to work on preparing for the new season.

Lopez and his Clippers have big challenges and big expectations for the season ahead.

Stats Show How Impressive Kris Dunn Was Last Season

Houston Rockets v Los Angeles Clippers

Kris Dunn was a huge help for the Los Angeles Clippers last season, but his role in 2025-26 may be minimized.

No matter what happens, it’s clear that Dunn is providing a boost for the Clippers.

According to APHoops, Dunn was the best point of attack defender last season.

BBall Index gave him an A- to A+ across the board for many reasons, showing that he’s terrific with ball screen navigation, perimeter isolation defense, and more.

So, why might Clippers fans see less of him in the new season?

— APHoops (@APH00PS) August 4, 2025

Dunn averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for the Clippers during his 74 games in 2024-25.

He started in 58 of those matches.

But with the acquisition of Chris Paul, it seems like Dunn will probably play more of a reserve role in the upcoming year.

Paul is one of the greatest point guards of all time, and he will earn a lot of minutes next season, especially since he played in all 82 games last year.

Dunn may be on the bench more, but that doesn’t mean he won’t continue to be an important presence in the lineup.

And being a backup player behind Paul isn’t anything to be embarrassed about.

Dunn has only spent one season with the Clippers, but he’s made an impact, and the team is aware of that.

His being a bench player means the roster will get even deeper in the months ahead.

However, the Clippers could also view him as a future trade asset, especially if he keeps playing well and providing great defense.

Kawhi Leonard Has Kind Gesture For Rwandan Community

A group of young basketball players in Africa was treated to a huge surprise recently.

A video shared by KlawedUP on X featured Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers making an appearance at the Giants of Africa basketball camp in Rwanda.

Understandably, all of the kids were elated to see Leonard, who gave them a few words of wisdom, met with them, and took a picture with the entire group.

This will be a moment that lives with these young players for the rest of their lives and throughout any basketball career they have.

There are only a few players like Leonard, who is a six-time All-Star and two-time champion.

He has been through a lot during his 13 years in the league, including many injuries that have sidelined him, but he is considered one of the best stars of his generation.

Last season, Leonard was looking very good, averaging 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists on 49.8 percent from the field.

He was only able to play in 37 games, but he made each of them count and was looking much healthier, especially as the season went on.

He was also a crucial part of the team’s playoff run, posting 25.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists during their seven games in the postseason.

These basketball players all know and respect Leonard.

They love the way that he plays the game and how resilient he is.

Just watching him play is an honor, but meeting him is something else entirely.

Leonard adores basketball, and he believes in the future generation of players.

That is why he went all the way to Africa to spread inspiration and joy.

Bradley Beal Has Decided On His Jersey Number With Clippers

Phoenix Suns v Denver Nuggets

(Photo by Tyler McFarland/Clarkson Creative/Getty Images)

Bradley Beal is about to begin his first season with the Los Angeles Clippers, and he is prepared to make a statement and give a few reminders.

He wants to have an impact on the team, and he has chosen his jersey number.

According to Etienne Catalan, Beal will wear No. 0 for the Clippers.

That number was last used by MarJon Beauchamp in 2025.

— Etienne Catalan (@EtienneCatalan) August 5, 2025

Beal might wear a zero on his back, but he doesn’t want to be a zero on the court.

He will have a lot to prove in the new season, especially after his stint with the Phoenix Suns.

During that time, Beal averaged 17.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists across just 91 games.

Beal wasn’t necessarily bad, but he never truly found his footing, much like the rest of the team.

Because of the Suns’ poor performance, Beal received negative comments from fans, and some people started to say that he was past his prime.

However, Beal is only a few years removed from scoring more than 23 points per night, and he wants to return to that.

Will he get the chance with the Clippers?

Like Beal, the team also has a lot to prove in the new season.

They were pointed in the right direction last year and even had some postseason success.

They have added promising players in the summer, and they think they could climb up the Western Conference standings.

It’s been a while since NBA fans viewed Beal as a truly impactful and consequential player, but he could make them change their minds during his first season in Los Angeles.

Luka Doncic Shows Off Big Physique Change

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - APRIL 30: Luka Doncic #77 of the Los Angeles Lakers is introduced before Game Five of the Western Conference First Round NBA Playoffs against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Crypto.com Arena on April 30, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. It would be difficult to find an NBA player who has been talked about more than Luka Doncic over the past several months.

Doncic’s move to the Los Angeles Lakers was unprecedented and surprising, to say the least, as it took the NBA world by storm.

Many thought he would be a member of the Dallas Mavericks for life, but one massive trade changed the course of his NBA career.

Now, he’s playing for the team with the most global exposure, and everything was out in the open when he joined the organization, for better or for worse.

Doncic’s weight was a cause for concern among fans and media members, as it was believed to be slowing him down and making him a less effective athlete.

He must have heard those concerns, as a recent photo shared from Bleacher Report shows a much different person and athlete.

At first glance, Doncic is significantly leaner than he was during the 2024-2025 campaign, thanks in large part to a different training regimen and a complete change in diet.

This is a great sign for the Lakers heading into the upcoming season, as they are looking for an X factor to help them take the next step and go on a deeper playoff run.

Doncic’s weight loss could have unlocked something within him that he didn’t have last season, making him that much better of an athlete and a teammate.

It will be interesting to see if these changes will be the difference-maker for the Lakers this year, and if they can regain their standing as one of the league’s best.

John Collins Has Decided On His Jersey Number With Clippers

Los Angeles Lakers v Utah Jazz

After a couple of seasons with the Utah Jazz, John Collins is preparing to make an impact with the Los Angeles Clippers in the new year, and fans are hoping he can bring some good energy and youth to the team.

Now, Collins had decided which jersey number he will use.

According to Etienne Catalan, Collins will wear No. 20 for the Clippers in 2025-26.

That number was last used by Justise Winslow in 2022.

— Etienne Catalan (@EtienneCatalan) August 9, 2025

Last season, Collins put up 19.0 points and 8.2 rebounds for his Jazz, but he was only able to play in 40 games because of injuries.

His physical problems have been concerning because he is only 27 years old.

Clippers fans are nervous, but hopeful that he can stay on the right health path in the new year and be able to participate for the full season.

Collins will be just one piece of the puzzle, but he could be a pivotal one if he stays in good health.

He will have to step up his defensive work in the new year, but he will luckily be guided by Clippers assistant Jeff Van Gundy, who has one of the brightest defensive minds in the league.

Collins has room for growth, and he obviously needs to work on his health, but he might be one of the several improvements that take the Clippers to the next level in the months ahead.

He has shown that he can score and be an effective player, both on and off the bench, but Collins has to enhance certain portions of his game to really be a huge part of the Clippers’ success.

James Harden Names His Starting Lineup Of Former Teammates

Houston Rockets v Los Angeles Clippers

James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers has played with a number of iconic, legendary players throughout his historic career.

But if he were forced to manufacture a lineup featuring only his former teammates, who would he go with?

A new video shed insight into Harden’s choice, and he created a team that would be hard to beat.

“Kyrie, Russ, me, KD, and Joel. I like that team. Small team on the floor. Got handles. Could shoot,” Harden said, via NBACentral.

The idea of Harden on the court with Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid is certainly tantalizing, and they would likely win a lot of games.

This dream lineup is a reminder of just how great of a career Harden has had.

He has played with some of the biggest names of all time and has found a lot of great success, but he has still fallen short of his ultimate goal: a championship.

Will that change with the Clippers?

They were healthier than usual last season and did some great work in the playoffs, but they still didn’t go all the way.

With a few roster tweaks and additions this summer, they hope that won’t be the case in 2025-26.

It’s interesting that Harden didn’t choose anyone from his current team, including future Hall of Famer Kawhi Leonard.

But, again, this shows just how much talent he has been with throughout his years in the league.

Harden’s legacy will be because of how he played and the accolades he earned on his own.

But it’ll also be because of the amazing players he performed with.

Bradley Beal Drops 4-Word Reason for Joining Clippers

Phoenix Suns v Denver Nuggets

(Photo by Tyler McFarland/Clarkson Creative/Getty Images)

Bradley Beal is now a member of the Los Angeles Clippers and is looking to win as much as possible.

Speaking with Tamar Sher, via NBACentral, Beal was very honest about why he chose to sign a contract with the Clippers.

“I need a ring,” Beal said.

That’s a frank statement from Beal, but does he really have a chance of finally becoming a champion with the Clippers?

On paper, they are one of the best teams in the league.

They are led by Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, and both of them have been looking quite good and healthy lately.

Los Angeles also has some young, developing talent and one of the greatest coaches in the NBA.

Still, a lot of people feel they are a long way from winning a title.

Their health is always a concern, and the fact that they have multiple aging stars doesn’t give fans much confidence.

This summer, the Clippers signed Chris Paul, which was a huge boon for the team and a moral boost, but he is 40 years old and might only play for one more season.

A couple of bad injuries could completely sideline this team, especially against an up-and-coming, robust Western Conference.

It’s been a few years since Beal was talked about as one of the most impactful players in the NBA, but he is ready to remind everyone what he is capable of.

He wants a ring, of course, but he also has a thing or two to prove to the rest of the league.
