Yao Ming Retires

Another good big man has retired Yao Ming. I personally thought he was an overrated player, but nonetheless he was a great person off the court and he was still a great player who battled through injuries constantly. And was the tallest current NBA player before he retired at 7'6". Yao was just 30 years old.

That sucks that he had to retire so young...he was probably the most successful Asian basketball player ever.

Ozzie he was the most successful, not probably. He was a great player but had to battle injuries. I bet he will still play basketball back in China if he goes back there once he gets healthy. 8 all stars is very impressive.

Yeah he beat out Shaq in his rookie year for starting center in the all-star game.

Yeah, so far he's the most successful, but I said ever. That new Asian player, I forgot his name(plays for the Bucks I think), could turn out to be better(I doubt it) or some new guy could come who is amazing.

I doubt he would try to play over in China and risk another injury... I could definitely see him getting involved somehow though.
