And yeah, I can thrown a spiral but it took me about 3 years to get it the same every throw, and my accuracy is inconsistent. You can't just pick up a football and throw a spiral. When I first started playing football I sucked at just about everything. I've gotten a lot better, but for the first 2 years I still wasn't great at catching. Then my dad started helping me and that helped me so much. Before I was trying to catch the ball with the palms of my hands, he taught me to catch it with my fingers. After that I was such a better player. There's all this little stuff that makes you a better player that you wouldn't think would help, but it does a ton.
Actually, all I see in a football game is people bumping and hitting each other. In hockey, yes there is violence, but there's also technique. You need skills to play hockey and I don,t see any of it in a football game. I've tried to watch a few games, but couldn't finish them.
I'd say the biggest technique in football would be the throwing, catching and kicking. If you're uncoordinated doing this is a major crap shoot. Seriously. I agree that hockey takes technique, but I belief football does too.
No, I don't have recess, 209. lol What grade are you in.
And Naiwen, you actually sound just like one of my friends. She basically thinks the same about football as you do. She thinks volleyball as how you think of hockey. Not saying volleyball is hard, but football takes technique, there's more than just trying to kill each other with big hits.
Football has alot more techniques than you'd think. In football throwing the ball good is a skill that takes years to develop, route running and catching is also very technical. Running involves the stiff-arm, spin, juke, leap, etc. which most NFL players have down to a perfection. You watched the who? All I know is that it isn't NFL, probably CFL. The NFL is so much more skilled than the CFL.

8th. Do you go to a public or private school?

I go to a private school. It's awesome there because there are only 140 people that go there so everyone knows eachother. We also have a 1-hour Mass every day so we have don't have as many classes. Our schedule is: Class, Class, Mass, Class, Lunch, Recess, Class, Class, Class.
What are you good at? I can throw pretty good, I am pretty good at tackling and strips. I'm amazing at breaking tackles, stiff arms, and catching.
I was taught by my brothers how to throw and catch when I was 6 and I've been good ever since. It's funny because even though the ones who taught me how to play are 7 and 9 years older than me, I'm alot better than them now. :P
I have great hands, or so I've been told. I'm really fast. I'm an alright tackler. I'm hard to tackle for some reason, I'm not all that strong, but I use the spin move and stiff arms. I'm a very bad kicker. I can throw pretty decent, I'm sometimes QB when I play with friends.

Yeah that's pretty much me except the fast, spin, and tackling.
I'm decent speed.
I'm in the top 3 fastest in my grade I think, it's kinda hard to tell because there's so many people. I'm the fastest on my football team at least. Not 100% sure about the entire grade.
My dad taught me the spin. lol When I first started doing it I tripped alot, but I've got it down pretty good now.
Tackling, I don't make alot of big hits but I bring people down. I did miss a few tackles this season though that I definetly should have made. I think that's what I need to work on the most, and blocking. I'm a tightend so it's what I do half the time. I'm an alright blocker, don't really let anyone by me most of the time, but could do a lot better.

Alouettes are CFL, which means Canadian Football League. If you watch a full Montreal game, you'll find that they're one of the best in the CFL, and are full of technique.
I find personally, that the NFL, has more technique, and harder hits. I'd suggest sticking to the CFL for now.
I'd also suggest watching a game with someone that knows football, knows the rules, etc. You should watch a full game with said person, and I'm sure you'll feel differently about football.
Grand opening was pushed back once again, we'll just say it's TBA for now. We are still waiting on the completion of some custom development that has been in the works.
