What Do You Collect?

I collect mainly baseball.

In New Zealand we have collectors cards which come in the weetbix boxs of the all black, our Nz Rugby team btw.

Rugby? Not very popular where i live, but i was thinking about playing it, it looks fun, but people get hurt all the time. I couldn't afford that, get hurt in it, then i wouldn't be able to play baseball.

Its a cool game. Rugby is really big in NZ.

Wow, a large number of you guys collect O.o I don't even know where to get cards Lol..

When my mom was younger, she used to chew a lot of gum.. and in the gum, came baseball cards, so we have about 1000 baseball cards. They're really old though. I was thinking of selling them.

That's how baseball cards were first sold, but at first, they came with chewing tobacco, then later they came with chewing gum, and then baseball cards became it's own industry.

They still do sometimes. Like the Bazooka Topps type of cards do, and they were made recentley.

Yea and some packs from like the 80's have gum in them lol

i got some hockey or football cards a few years back with gum in them (they were really old so the gum was a rock).

Yea and also when there really old sometimes they stick to the card.

Yeah, and they get sugar on the cards, it effects value, I think.

Well most the times the gum would be wrapped in plastic!

yeah i got a pack with gum in it last year, i dont think it was wrapped though

pencils and pens. Some of them are cool, others are just dry rotted trash.
