Warriors Reportedly Have ‘Mutual Interest’ With Veteran Guard

The Golden State Warriors want to become true playoff contenders again, and that means they may need to beef up their roster.

If they are hoping to improve their offense, they need stars who can shoot.

According to Anthony Slater, they have their eye on one who would bring brotherly love to Golden State.

“The Warriors want some extra shooting. Another name I’m hearing with mutual interest is Seth Curry,” Slater said, per Hoop Central.

The idea of both Curry brothers playing together is definitely exciting, but would it be enough to move the needle for the Warriors?

Unlike his brother, Steph, Seth has been all over the NBA throughout his career.

He last played for the Charlotte Hornets, where he averaged 6.5 points and 1.7 rebounds.

His field goal percentage is his most enticing feature, and he shot 47.8 percent from the field last season.

And although he didn’t get many headlines, he also led the league in three-point percentage with 45.6.

So, while adding Seth to the Warriors would be nice because it would pair him with his brother, it could also actually help the team quite a bit.

Plus, he wouldn’t be that expensive and could come in with a cheap contract.

All of this could greatly assist the Warriors, who are always looking for more shooting help to put next to Steph.

If the Warriors want to bounce back from the up-and-down season they just had, they will likely need to do more than only add Seth.

There could be other changes on the horizon, too.

Acquiring Seth would be just a start, but it couldn’t be the end of the team’s changes this summer.

Insider Reveals Trade Proposal For Jonathan Kuminga

Golden State Warriors v Phoenix Suns

Jonathan Kuminga‘s time with the Golden State Warriors appears to be reaching its end.

The young forward has grown increasingly frustrated with his role after being pushed out of Steve Kerr’s playoff rotation last season.

What started as a contract negotiation has evolved into something bigger.

He wants a guaranteed starting position, but the Warriors remain uncommitted to his future and continue to evaluate their options.

One team reportedly has emerged as the most aggressive suitor for Kuminga in recent weeks.

“The Sacramento Kings are willing to part ways with Devin Carter, Dario Saric and a protected first-round pick for Jonathan Kuminga, but the Warriors declined, according to Brett Siegel. But, Keegan Murray and Keon Ellis are two players the Warriors ‘would likely want in a potential sign-and-trade,'” Courtside Buzz wrote on X.

The standoff has created problems beyond just Kuminga’s future. Golden State cannot pursue other free agents, such as Al Horford or De’Anthony Melton, until they resolve his status.

The Warriors are demanding significant value, and Sacramento reportedly refused to include Keegan Murray and Keon Ellis in any potential trade.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns are also monitoring the situation.

Kuminga’s representatives appear willing to wait out the process, and the restricted free agent holds some leverage despite his limited options.

This impasse could drag well into the offseason, so the Warriors need to decide whether keeping an unhappy player is worth the ongoing complications.

Meanwhile, Kuminga continues waiting for the starting role he believes he deserves.

Jonathan Kuminga Takes Firm Stance About His Role

Phoenix Suns v Golden State Warriors

No one is sure if Jonathan Kuminga will stay with the Golden State Warriors or head to a new team before the upcoming season.

This has been a question floating around the league for more than a year now, and an answer could be coming soon.

According to Anthony Slater, Kuminga has an unwavering demand for his future: he doesn’t want to be a “secondary” player.

“Beyond the contract demands, Kuminga is in search of a more guaranteed, consistent starting role and featured opportunity, sources said. That’s something both the Suns and Kings have pitched. Kuminga would be a significant part of the Warriors’ rotation to open next season, and they’ll need his supplementary scoring on nights that either Steph Curry, 37, or Jimmy Butler, 35, rest. That’s something head coach Steve Kerr has voiced to Kuminga in recent weeks. Kerr has been one of the leading voices trying to patch this together, sources said. But Kuminga no longer wants to be a secondary option or a fallback plan, fearing a minimization in important moments,” Slater said, via NBACentral.

It sounds like the Warriors want to keep Kuminga around, but they may not be able to guarantee a consistent spot in the starting five.

A couple of seasons ago, that seemed possible.

Kuminga started in 46 of his 74 games in the 2023-24 season, and it looked like he had patched things up with head coach Steve Kerr.

Last season, things were different, and he started in only 10 games.

On top of that, he played in just 47 matches for the entire season.

The chances of Kuminga going from that to routinely starting seem unlikely, but it could happen.

According to Slater, it’s Kerr who is trying to keep this relationship going, but he only has so much power.

And if Kuminga will only settle on a starting role, he might be out of luck with the Warriors.

But what are his other options, and is he willing to leave the only team he’s ever played for in order to become a starter?

Steph Curry Speaks Out About Retirement Rumors

Golden State Warriors v Phoenix Suns

Steph Curry has redefined basketball since entering the NBA, proving that dominance doesn’t require towering height.

The Golden State Warriors superstar has transformed how the game is played and viewed across the globe.

His impact extends far beyond statistics, creating a blueprint for smaller guards to thrive at the highest level.

As the Warriors begin their seventeenth season with their franchise cornerstone, questions about Curry’s longevity have become inevitable.

The two-time MVP recently addressed these concerns during an appearance on the Complex podcast with host Speedy Morman.

“I just want to be in a position where I’ve put myself in a position where I can say, ‘I’ve done everything I can to get everything out of this game,'” Curry said. “I’m not anywhere close to that, though.”
Steph Curry: "No way close to [retiring]."

"So we got some more years from you?"

Steph: "For sure. 100%"

(via @Complex)pic.twitter.com/rLyiFdNoWt

— ClutchPoints (@ClutchPoints) July 24, 2025

When Morman pressed him about having several years remaining in his career, Curry’s response was direct and confident: “For sure.”

Selected seventh overall by Golden State in 2009, Curry has shattered every projection made about his potential.

His career trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable, consistently performing at an elite level well into his thirties.

Last season provided another example of his sustained excellence. Curry averaged 24.5 points, six assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals while maintaining nearly 40% accuracy from three-point range.

The interview revealed one challenge Curry faces as he ages. While games themselves remain manageable, the recovery process between contests has become increasingly demanding on his body.

Warriors fans can breathe easier knowing their legendary guard has no immediate retirement plans.

Curry appears committed to extracting every ounce of greatness from his remaining years.

Details Emerge About Suns’ Offer To Jonathan Kuminga

Phoenix Suns v Golden State Warriors

According to most reports, Jonathan Kuminga doesn’t want to remain with the Golden State Warriors next season, but he may not have a lot of options.

However, the Phoenix Suns may have just created the best deal possible for Kuminga.

According to Evan Sidery, per Legion Hoops, the Suns are reportedly offering Kuminga nearly double what the Warriors have at $90 million over four years.

Should Kuminga and his management team leap at the chance to sign a contract with the Suns?

😳
pic.twitter.com/dtjukjDJTG

— Legion Hoops (@LegionHoops) July 30, 2025

Kuminga apparently wants a deal that will give him more playing time, a starting spot in the lineup, and a long-term commitment.

The Warriors aren’t offering him that, and the best they can do is two years at $45, but Kuminga wants something closer to three years and $80 million.

This Suns deal would be much better than what Golden State will cough up, so Kuminga should consider it.

Phoenix could attempt to create a sign-and-trade deal with the Warriors, but Golden State has been very strict about what they want in any potential package.

They require first-round draft picks and talent that can develop over the years.

They are also resistant to any ugly contracts that will bog them down.

The options were already limited for Kuminga at the start of the offseason, but they have become even more minimal in the last few weeks.

It’s very unlikely that he will see something better than this, so he would be wise to think long and hard about it.

Has Kuminga played his last game for the Warriors, and will he pack his bags and head to Phoenix to help them start their post-Kevin Durant chapter?

Warriors Reportedly ‘Weren’t Interested’ In Proposed Kings Trade

Golden State Warriors v Minnesota Timberwolves - Game Five

The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings have reportedly been working hard behind the scenes to make a deal for Jonathan Kuminga.

But just how hard have they been working?

According to Sam Amick, the Warriors aren’t interested in what the Kings have been offering, which may limit Sacramento’s options.

“My understanding is the Warriors weren’t interested in Carter or DeRozan. As of a couple weeks ago, the Kings weren’t willing to pay Kuminga into the $20 million range (AAV),” Amick said, via NBACentral.

— NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) July 30, 2025

As time goes on, this Kuminga situation seems to get more and more complicated for the Warriors.

They are somewhat interested in keeping him, but they are also willing to let him go.

However, they aren’t going to give him up for anything, and they want the right deal to be offered by the Kings.

The worst fear of the Warriors is that they let Kuminga go only to later find out a better package could have been presented by another team.

They have already offered Kuminga a new contract – one he isn’t wild about – but they haven’t been ready to create a sign-and-trade that would ship him to another destination.

The problem for the Kings is that they only have so much they can offer, and it simply isn’t enough for the Warriors, at least not right now.

Giving up DeRozan or Carter is about all they are ready for, at least right now.

Kuminga and his management team will have to make a decision soon, because they cannot sit still and do nothing forever.

The new season is still months away, but it is approaching, and Kuminga is still without a determined future.

Details Emerge About Warriors’ ‘Best Offer’ To Jonathan Kuminga

Houston Rockets v Golden State Warriors - Game Three

Jonathan Kuminga may not get what he wants from the Golden State Warriors, but where does that leave him?

According to Marc Stein, via Fullcourtpass, the Warriors have made an offer to Kuminga for a new contract, but it’s not the kind that the star player desired.

Apparently, the Warriors’ best offer to Kuminga has “topped out” at two years and $40 million.

Warriors fans remember that Kuminga wants something closer to three years at $30 million per season, so this is far from what he hoped for.

— Fullcourtpass (@Fullcourtpass) July 29, 2025

Because of this offer, Kuminga and his management are in a tough spot.

They can either accept this deal or try to make a new one, preferably a sign-and-trade that would ship him off to another team.

The Sacramento Kings have been looking at Kuminga, but it sounds like the Warriors are hesitant to work with them because Golden State wants a first-round pick and young talent, and they aren’t willing to accept bad contracts on top of that.

However, the Warriors cannot drag their heels with the Kuminga situation because it has brought their front office to a screeching halt.

They have been trying to sign other talent, such as Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton, but the complications with Kuminga have slowed that down.

In other words, they cannot move forward until they know what is going on with Kuminga.

Perhaps Kuminga is able to sweeten the pot just a little bit, getting a new contract with Golden State that isn’t ideal but good enough for now.

Or maybe he can convince the team to create the sign-and-trade that sends him to Sacramento.

But, right now, things feel stuck, and they have been for some time.

Bulls Emerge As Possible Trade Suitor For 1 Western Conference Team

Boston Celtics v Chicago Bulls - Emirates NBA Cup

Will the Chicago Bulls do business with a rival from the Western Conference?

Both the Bulls and Golden State Warriors have been relatively quiet during the offseason.

In fact, the Warriors are the only team who haven’t done anything at all in the summer.

But is that about to change?

According to Brett Siegel, via Ray Almeda, the Bulls and Warriors have talked about working together in order to facilitate a Jonathan Kuminga trade.

If this trade were to happen, Ayo Dosunmu would be moved to the Warriors.

“Kuminga and the Warriors alike have held out hope this offseason that the Bulls would be a suitor in a potential sign-and-trade scenario. In any scenario involving Chicago, Dosunmu would be the headline player going to Golden State,” per Brett Siegel.
Via @BrettSiegelNBA: "Kuminga and the Warriors alike have held out hope this offseason that the Bulls would be a suitor in a potential sign-and-trade scenario. In any scenario involving Chicago, Dosunmu would be the headline player going to Golden State."

— Ray Almeda (@rayalmeda) July 28, 2025

The Kuminga situation in Golden State has been the talk of the NBA for months now.

Even before the season was over, there was great speculation about Kuminga leaving the Warriors and heading to another team.

He has made no secret of his desire to play for a squad that uses him more often.

He doesn’t want to be a second-unit player forever, but it doesn’t feel like he will get many more opportunities with the Warriors.

Would the Bulls be a good home for him?

They definitely have the space for Kuminga and could give him the starting role that he wants.

However, the Warriors could demand a lot in any sign-and-trade deal and would the Bulls be able to make them happy?

Other teams, such as the Sacramento Kings, have been linked to Kuminga, so there is a chance a deal with the Bulls doesn’t go through.

But if both sides are able to work things out, this could be a trade that works well for the Warriors and Bulls.

Insider Reveals ‘Major Gap’ In Blockbuster Warriors, Kings Trade

Sacramento Kings v Golden State Warriors

(Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images)

The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings have been trying to hash out a deal that lands Jonathan Kuminga in the state’s capital.

But that hasn’t been working out well, and now we have more insight about why.

According to Kings Lead, a major gap preventing the Kuminga trade is the protection of a first-round draft pick.

“If the Kings want this deal to go through sooner than later, the pick most likely has to be unprotected, or with minimal reductions,” Kings Lead wrote on X.

— Kings Lead (@KingsLeadSM) August 3, 2025

Can the Kings get this deal done?

That seems less and less likely because they haven’t been able to achieve their goals yet, so there is little optimism that they will as the offseason goes on.

It sounds like the Warriors are ready to move on from Kuminga.

He’s a promising player but has yet to carve out a reliable spot for himself in the lineup over the last few years.

Additionally, he recently stated that he wants to play for a team that will use him often, because he is tired of being a second-unit star and believes he can do better and deserves more.

But the Warriors won’t part ways with him unless they get a deal they are wild about.

With that being said, Golden State hasn’t made any moves this summer because the Kuminga situation has tied everything up.

If they want Al Horford and others, they will have to make a decision soon.

How much do the Kings want Kuminga, and what are they willing to put on the table?

Are they prepared to go all-in on him?

Analyst Reveals 2 ‘Realistic Options’ For Jonathan Kuminga

Golden State Warriors v Minnesota Timberwolves - Game Five

It is becoming increasingly likely that Jonathan Kuminga will remain with the Golden State Warriors, but it’s not clear for how long.

According to Jake Weinbach, Kuminga currently has just a couple of options.

He could accept the one-year, $7.9 million qualifying offer from the Warriors to “bet on himself and enter unrestricted free agency in 2026.”

Or, Kuminga could “sign a new long-term deal north of $20 million per year with GSW.”

If those are his only choices, which one will Kuminga go with?

Kuminga likely has two realistic options left to resolve his restricted free agency.

1) Accept the one-year, $7.9M qualifying offer from GSW to bet on himself and enter unrestricted free agency in 2026

2) Sign a new long-term deal north of $20M per year with GSW https://t.co/KYazthKTLu

— Jake Weinbach (@JWeinbachNBA) August 5, 2025

When the summer began, most people thought Kuminga was going to start a new chapter with a different team.

He hasn’t been getting as many minutes and opportunities as he wants, and now desires to play for a team that won’t view him as only a bench player.

Kuminga is ready to take his career to the next level, but he may not get the chance this season.

He may end up signing a short-term deal with the Warriors, in hopes of having a really strong year and enticing teams in the next free agency.

If that is his approach, all eyes will be on Kuminga throughout the season because people will know he wants to move on.

The Warriors and Kuminga will have to agree to something soon because the offseason is starting to wind down, and this situation has prevented any other movement for Golden State.

If they don’t get this figured out soon, they might end up being completely the same when 2025-26 kicks off.

Kuminga was hoping for more, but he’s down to a few options.

So, which route will he take?

Warriors Raise Eyebrows With Questionable Offseason

Houston Rockets v Golden State Warriors - Game Six

The Golden State Warriors were trending in the right direction at the end of last season, but they obviously still weren’t where they wanted to be.

That made many people believe they’d be shaking things up in the summer.

So far, that hasn’t happened.

In fact, as noted by Steph Curry Muse on X, the Warriors remain the only team to make absolutely zero moves this offseason.

Time is running out, and the clock is ticking, so will the Warriors finally get busy?

The Warriors are still the only team to make zero moves this off season… pic.twitter.com/Ffv6OEujN0

— Steph Curry Muse (@StephMuse_) August 5, 2025

The biggest problem for the Warriors is the Jonathan Kuminga situation.

When the offseason started, nearly everyone predicted that Kuminga would leave the team.

That would free up the Warriors to make some other moves and bring in new talent, such as Al Horford, who has reportedly been eager and waiting for Golden State to acquire him.

But the Warriors haven’t figured out their Kuminga problem, and everything else is in limbo.

According to the latest reports, there is a good chance he comes back to the team, although on a small salary with a short-term deal.

Will they be able to sort through the Kuminga issue and then add more stars, or will they not make any big moves this summer?

If that’s the case, what will the new season look like?

This is a team that feels like it still needs a few pieces to be as competitive as it once was.

Can they get those pieces this offseason, or will it have to wait until the trade deadline or next year?

If the Warriors look exactly like they did last season, what are their chances of dominating the West?

Warriors Take Firm Stance With 2 Key Players In Potential Deal

Houston Rockets v Golden State Warriors - Game Four

The Golden State Warriors are still the only team in the league who haven’t made a single move this offseason.

That is putting all fans on edge, but it may not change any time soon.

According to Sam Amick, via Fullcourtpass, the Warriors do not want to move either Buddy Hield or Moses Moody, and this resistance is “a major obstacle to a potential Jonathan Kuminga sign-and-trade deal.”

— Fullcourtpass (@Fullcourtpass) August 4, 2025

The Kuminga saga continues, and it’s brought Golden State’s entire offseason to a total halt.

When the summer started, many fans thought the Warriors were going to be very busy.

They expected the team to grab a big-name, A-list talent, and they thought that Kuminga would be shipped to another team in a sign-and-trade deal.

But nothing has happened, and as time goes on, more pieces of news come out from inside the team, and it makes one thing clear: this squad is stubborn about its positions.

Hield can’t go, Moses can’t either, and Kuminga will only be shipped out if it’s truly worth it for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, players like Al Horford are waiting on the sidelines, hoping to get signed by Golden State soon.

The Warriors aren’t moving forward, and it’s not obvious what is next for them.

Will the front office change its mind and find Hield and Moody expendable before the summer is over?

If not, this team will look exactly the same when the new season kicks off.

That isn’t necessarily a horrible thing, but it is not what fans expected.

The clock is ticking and the Warriors are under pressure, but they aren’t budging.

Stephen Curry Used To Have Interesting Halftime Habit

Golden State Warriors v Orlando Magic

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is probably the greatest NBA shooter of all time and perhaps the best point guard to ever play the game.

His place in history is cemented, but that doesn’t mean he ignores what people say about him.

Speaking with Straight to Cam, Damion Lee revealed that Curry used to search his name on Twitter during halftime.

“Steph would search it up for a minute or two… then go crazy in the 2nd half,” Lee said, via Legion Hoops.

Curry is such a phenomenal player that it’s somewhat hard to believe he gives any attention to the people who speak about him online.

But apparently he does care, and it actually fuels him to do better.

They may not know it, but Curry’s critics have seemingly helped him perform well during numerous games, according to Lee.

As great as he is, Curry has received his fair share of criticism throughout his career.

When he was a young rookie, a lot of people said he just wouldn’t cut it in the NBA.

They claimed that he was only a shooter and couldn’t keep up or compete with the rest of the league.

Four championships, two MVPs, 11 All-Star selections, and one Olympic gold medal later, Curry has proven all of them wrong.

He is now 37 years old and nearing the end of his career.

Curry has done so much and has become a legend of the game, but does he still hop on social media in the middle of games to see what people are saying?

Stephen Curry Reveals What He’s Playing For Next Season

Houston Rockets v Golden State Warriors - Game Six

The Golden State Warriors may not be the championship favorites they once were, but they still think they can go all the way in 2025-26.

Speaking to the press, Curry said he has only one goal in the season ahead: winning another title.

“I truly believe we can be championship relevant in the sense of we’re probably not going to be favorite in any conversation, but that we have a team that’s capable of achieving that level again. I think it’s realistic to build towards that. For me, that’s the only thing I’m playing for at this point,” Curry said, via Steph Curry Muse on X.

So, Curry is aiming to be a champion again, but is that truly possible?

Currently, it appears that the Warriors will remain the same team they were at the end of the 2024-25 season.

There is still time for them to make changes, such as moving Jonathan Kuminga or acquiring Josh Giddey, but the team hasn’t formalized a deal yet.

They weren’t able to go all the way last year, so why would they be able to in the new season?

Curry would be a huge part of any success they find, because he remains the team’s most important and proven star.

But head coach Steve Kerr would have to figure out how to use his younger players more, and he would have to settle on a lineup that he likes.

The team turned a corner in the middle of last year, and they looked much better in the second half of the season.

They weren’t good enough to win it all, but they were definitely better than before.

Without massive changes, how can the Warriors go all the way and become champions again?

Warriors Are Reportedly Showing Interest In Bulls Star

The Golden State Warriors have been shockingly quiet during the offseason, but fans keep hoping they will do something.

Maybe they will, and maybe it’ll be soon.

According to Jake Fischer, per Basketball Forever, the Warriors are “reportedly interested” in Josh Giddey, currently of the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls have been resistant to meeting Giddey’s demand for a contract that brings him $30 million a year.

Will he find a better deal with the Warriors?

Last season, Giddey’s first with the Bulls, he posted 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.

After spending his first three years with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Giddey quickly looked comfortable with the Bulls, and some people said he could be the future face of the franchise.

But now it sounds like he could be leaving for a different team because Chicago isn’t willing to give him what he wants with a new salary.

Giddey is a young player who can fill multiple roles and carry a team with different positions, which is one of the reasons why the Warriors are so attracted to him.

Is he enough for Golden State, or would they need more?

Giddey wasn’t the first name at the top of the Warriors’ list of possible targets, but it’s not clear who they have been looking into.

Several players have been floated as potential Warriors, but the team has seemed unsure of who to pursue the most.

Will they go with Giddey, and will this be the end of their offseason?

If they do acquire him, how much will they pay, and will it make him happy?

Warriors Have Reportedly Expressed Interest In 5 Free Agents

The Golden State Warriors are the only NBA team that hasn’t made a move during the current offseason, but it may not be that way for long.

In fact, they currently have their eyes on a few free agents.

According to Ary on X, the Warriors have “expressed interest” in Al Horford, D’Anthony Melton, Malcolm Brogdon, Seth Curry, and Gary Payton II.

“A stealth pursuit of seasoned contributors to bolster a title run in the twilight of Steph Curry’s career,” Ary wrote.

All of these free agents have a couple of things in common: they are older, experienced veterans, and they would come to the Warriors on a cheap salary.

That is good news across the board for Golden State, because it means they wouldn’t have to break the bank to acquire them.

Horford and Melton have been tied to the Warriors since the very start of the offseason, and they seem like the most likely candidates to move to Golden State in the new season.

But Brogdon, Curry, and Payton would also be great, because it would help take some of the pressure off Steph Curry’s shoulders.

As Curry gets older and his retirement draws nearer, the pressure to win another championship only grows.

A proven and reliable star who can make plays, lead the team, and shoot the ball is exactly what the Warriors and Curry need.

The team’s front office has been tied up with negotiations around Jonathan Kuminga.

If they wish to get any of these free agents, they will have to address and solve that situation as soon as possible.

Insider Reveals Major Update About Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga

For months, it has sounded like Jonathan Kuminga wants to leave the Golden State Warriors.

Despite that desire, there has been no real movement for him to find a new team, and he remains one of the biggest free agents on the market.

According to Anthony Slater, via Evan Sidery, the Warriors and Kuminga “continue to be in a contract stalemate with no movement.”

Apparently, Kuminga’s representation offered the team a three-year, $82 million deal, but the Warriors said no to that.

The Warriors have reportedly offered Kuminga a two-year, $45 million deal.

They know that Kuminga wants a brighter future with a different team, one that will give him more time on the court and a bigger role.

They also know that he won’t get that with them.

Therefore, they are offering a deal that they feel is tradeable, because it’ll lay the groundwork for a move at midseason.

But Kuminga apparently doesn’t like that idea, and he wants a contract that is better for him, one that doesn’t consider the well-being of the team.

He hopes to be a long-term building block for another team, and he knows that things won’t change with the Warriors.

However, he also knows he needs a contract to start the season, and he might not have many other options.

This is why most people believe he will agree to the qualifying offer from the Warriors, with the full expectation of him leaving by the trade deadline in the middle of the season.

Kuminga will likely start the season as a Warrior, but he probably won’t stay in that jersey for long.

Stats Show How Efficient Stephen Curry Has Been On Offense

Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors is possibly the best shooter in the history of the NBA.

Everyone knows he’s amazing, but looking at his stats is always a good reminder of just how impressive he really is.

Steph Curry Muse summed up his greatness on X, reminding readers that he has the most 50+ point games on 50/40/90 percent.

He also has the most 45+ point games, the most 40+ point games, and the most 35+ point games on 50/40/90 percent.

The list of Curry’s accomplishments goes on and on and on.

— Steph Curry Muse (@StephMuse_) August 14, 2025

Calling Curry a significant scorer is the biggest understatement one can make.

There is a reason he is often hailed as the best point guard and shooter of all time.

He can post a shot from just about anywhere on the court.

It doesn’t matter how crazy the shot is, Curry always has a chance of making it.

Last season, he averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists on 44.8 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from the three-point line.

His career average stands at 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.4 assists on 47.1 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from behind the three-point line.

Curry is 37 years old, but still has a lot of gas left in his tank.

If he can remain healthy, there is no reason why he won’t be posting numbers like this after 40.

Curry scores, and it isn’t always with the easiest shots.

He has made a career of producing some of the most eye-popping buckets in NBA history, which is one of the reasons why people believe he’s the best to ever do it.

1 Warriors Player Draws Comparison To Jaden McDaniels

Jaden McDaniels of the Minnesota Timberwolves has made a name for himself as one of the best supporting stars in the league.

What other players in the NBA can be compared to him?

An unnamed NBA exec said that Jonathan Kuminga is in line with McDaniels and deserves a very healthy contract to respect that.

“McDaniels is great in his role, but J.K. is more talented and has higher upside if he ever can hit,” an anonymous NBA executive said of Kuminga.

There are many people, both in and out of the NBA, who think that Kuminga can do a lot more for his team.

The only question is this: which team should be his?

Kuminga has only ever played for the Golden State Warriors, but there have been a ton of rumors about him leaving soon.

The team doesn’t always have a place for him, and he only appeared in 47 games last season, starting in just 10 of them.

It’s clear that he isn’t a crucial part of the lineup, but he wants to be.

Kuminga has publicly stated that he wishes to perform for a team that will use him a lot.

He doesn’t view himself as a bench player but as someone who can be starting in games and leading a squad.

Unfortunately, he likely won’t get that honor with Golden State, and a big contract probably won’t come his way there either.

Kuminga will have to move to a new destination if he wishes to show more of his skills, but for now, he might be stuck with the Warriors.

Many people expect him to sign a short-term deal with the team before a potential trade at midseason.

He has upside and potential, but he might not be able to showcase it in Golden State.

Bucks Reportedly Pursued 1 Warriors Player In Offseason

Milwaukee Bucks v Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have reportedly been trying to deal away Jonathan Kuminga this offseason, but haven’t had much luck.

According to Brett Siegel, the Warriors were in communication with the Milwaukee Bucks recently, but the two sides were unable to agree on a deal.

The Warriors would only accept an offer that featured Bobby Portis, and the Bucks said no to that.

“It is also worth mentioning that the Milwaukee Bucks were another team that kicked around the idea of pursuing Kuminga. If they were to do so, the Warriors made it known they would want Bobby Portis in a sign-and-trade scenario, which is something Milwaukee wasn’t willing to do,” Siegel said, via NBACentral.

This is a sign of just how much the Bucks value Portis, who has been in Milwaukee for five seasons and has averaged 13.6 points and 8.3 rebounds.

Considering he just signed a new deal with Milwaukee, it’s very clear just how much they like him.

As for the Warriors, this news is evidence that they think Kuminga is special and worth a lot.

They aren’t going to give him away for just any return, and they only want something and someone they think will help them for a long time.

The Bucks and Warriors weren’t able to hash out a deal this time, but will they change their tune in the months ahead?

Right now, most people assume Kuminga will stick with the Warriors, at least until the midseason trade deadline.

At that point, you can be sure more rumors about his departure from Golden State will grow, and perhaps the Bucks will be involved in them.
