Last night, two of the top 10 ranked teams in NCAA men's basketball suffered losses.

Minnesota, fresh off of two double-digit losses to Iowa and Ohio St., were able to knock off the #1 rated Indiana Hoosiers, 77-73, thanks to Trevor Mbakwe's 21 points and 12 rebounds. Andre Hollins also added 16 points for the Gophers in their big win. Minnesota's record in the Big 10 is now at 7-8, while the loss is only Indiana's 3rd in the conference, and 4th overall.

Tennessee was also able to topple their top 10 opponent, #8 Florida, 64-58. Jordan McRae was the only player to score in double-digits for the Volunteers, putting up 27 points, but that's all they needed to pull off the victory, moving their SEC record to 9-6, while giving Florida their 3rd conference loss and 5th loss overall.

Another notable upset was Xavier pulling out the victory over #19 Memphis, 64-62, in the non-conference face-off. Memphis, who was on an 18 game winning streak, have now lost 4 games this season, none of them, though, have been conference losses.

I'm so happy Indiana lost. I still think they are probably the best team in the league right now, but I love seeing them lose. This year's March Madness is going to be wild. There are no clear cut favorites this year. A lot of different teams could win it all.

Yeah, this is going to be a tough year to fill out brackets. I have no idea who I think will win.

Yeah, that was a crazy game. Penn St. is playing Minnesota on Saturday, so that should be an interesting game, with both teams having a ton of momentum.
