Figured we could use a thread for NBA trades & trade rumors since the lockout is over and people are buzzing about tons of players.

First off, I already discussed Chris Paul perhaps being dealt to the Knicks where he can form a "Big Three" with Amare and Melo.

It's even possible Nash could end up with the Knicks.

Well, turns out Dwight Howard also might be moved to a team like the Nets or Lakers. Imagine him on the Lakers.

Deron Williams possible destinations are the Magic, Lakers, and Knicks.

O.J. Mayo could sign with Atlanta, Chicago, or even my Celtics.

Any comments or rumors you've heard?

Yea, mah Celtcs would have an even tougher time with them. I still call bullshit on their last Finals meeting. Perk got injured, which left them with no big man really at all to face Bynum, and the refs had two MAJOR F UPS in the LAST QUARTER.

Howard stays on the Magic with Deron joining in. O.J Mayo stays on the grizzlies.

Well, that wouldnt be as bad as Howard going to LA but it would make it harder for my Celtics in the Eastern Conference playoffs

It looking more and more like the Blazers will release Roy with the amnesty clause. He gave me interest in the Blazers again and I've always loved is playing style. I will become very sad and/or depressed if they get rid of him.

Um, http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/celtics/extras/celtics_blog/2011/11/making_sense_of.html]this trade better not go down or I'm going to be pissed.

EDIT: Um. Was going to move my previous post's contents into this one and delete the other so I wouldnt have double posted, but apparently the staff has disabled that option.

It's not going to happen, because Chris Paul won't want to sign an extension with the Celtics.http://espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/_/id/7297944/new-orleans-hornets-chris-paul-sign-boston-celtics-dealt-source-says]espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/_/id/7297944/new-orleans-hornets-chris-paul-sign-boston-celtics-dealt-source-says

That would more stupid than the Blazers releasing Roy. That would be horrible to have no point guard to lead them.

Chris Paul's agent has now said that Paul won't resign with the Hornets, and instead, he wants to be traded to the Knicks.

And according to Danny Ainge, the Celtic's GM, the Celtics "love" Rondo, and will not be trading him.

I think Paul would be pretty good with the Knicks. They would have their own "Big 3" in Paul, Staudamire, and Melo.

It would be another triumvirate. :o
I may be a LeBron James fan, but I don't like what he has done to the NBA. Now all big shot NBA players are trying to form their own big three as well. It's sickening. If this continues, it will leave those teams with only one star player (Grizzlies, Thunder, Magic, etc.) in the dust.
