So the MLB Trade Deadline is fast approaching. It is July 31st, which is this Sunday and there have already been a few trades that have happened. K-Rod was traded to the Brewers, Johnny Gomes was traded to the Nationals, and there have been a bunch of rumors going on about other big name players.

Some of the top players on the trade market right now are Carlos Beltran, B.J. Upton, Ubaldo Jimenez, Hiroki Kuroda, and many others.

I will keep updating this tread whenever there are more trades, so stay tuned.

Aww, I loved Johnny Gomes. Well at least we got some young prospects out of him.

I will be surprised if the Mets trade Carlos Beltran. Ubaldo Jimenez hasn't been that great this season, so it's probably not the best time for him to be traded.

The Mariners will probably either trade Felix Hernandez this week, or they'll wait and trade him during the off-season.

White Sox trade Edwin Jackson and Mark Teahan to Blue Jays for Jason Frasor and pitching prospect Zach Stewart.

About 2 hours after this deal above was done, this was made:

Colby Rasmus, Trever Miller, Brian Tallet and P.J. Walters of the Cardinals for Edwin Jackson, Marc Rzepczynski, Octavio Dotel and Corey Patterson of the Blue Jays. Sources say Miller will be flipped to White Sox.

Carlos Beltran traded to the Giants for a top pitching prospect Zach Wheeler. Seems like a good trade but I think the Mets could have got more in return.
