The 2011 MLB World Series is set, and will begin Wednesday. It will be the Texas Rangers versus the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals will have home field advantage as the NL won the All-Star game.

Rangers: The Rangers have had a great postseason, and are in the World Series for the 2nd straight year. Last year they choked in the World Series, and they didn't look like the same Rangers team we saw all season. This year, they hope it will be different. They come into the World Series with much momentum, after beating the Rays 3 games to 1, and the Tigers 4 games to 2.
Their offense really came alive in the ALCS including 6 homeruns from ALCS MVP Nelson Cruz. C.J. Wilson will be pitching game 1.

Cardinals: The Cardinals have been hot since September, when the came all the way back from 9 games back to win the Wild Card over the Braves. They then beat the best team of the regular season, The Phillies, 3 games to 2 in the ALDS. They then beat the Brewers in 6 games, and have tons of momentum too. They have been powered by the NLCS MVP Freese, and Pujols's hot hitting in the clutch.

The Rangers vs Cardinals will be a great series, and it's impossible to pick a favorite. Both teams are hot, and I expect it to be a long series. My prediction: Rangers win in 6 games.

I'll be so mad if the Cardinals win. The Cardinals are my absolute least favorite team, and the Rangers are probably my 2nd favorite team (mainly because I have alot of Ranger-loving relatives that live in Texas).

I would like to see the Rangers win it. They have been a great team for the past few years, they deserve it. I'd like to see Josh Hamilton, Michael Young, and the rest of the team to win it all.

I'm hoping the Rangers win it all this year as well. They haven't won the World Series in a while and I really like their team with Adrian Beltre, Nelson Cruz, Michael Young and Josh Hamilton. They have all worked hard for this their entire careers.

That was an awesome game last night! Rangers were down by 1 in the ninth but rallied to win, 2-1.

Series tied 1-1.

Didn't he just hit three homers?
