The Lions

I look at the past and be sad. I am realistic. We sucked but I still followed them. I didn't go to another team, I didn't stop watching football, I watched them.

Nobody brags how many NFL championships they have. So the NFL championship really does not count. It's an unrecognizable accomplishment. The Lions were never contenders to even get to the Superbowl. Even when they had Barry Sanders.

Stop calling me a fair-weather fan or band-wagoner. It's rather annoying.

Thankyou.

But you're not complaining about the past, you're complaining about a 5-2 team with signs of becoming a standout team, while I'm happier than ever about the 4-2 Bengals, who rarely win a game by more than one possession.

If you are complaining about the past, you should probably fix that. The only thing you can do about the past is look at it and be happy... unless you want to become a very sad person.

You guys have no idea. No idea at all.

Are you kidding me? The Bengals haven't won a playoff game since I was born, and they have never won a Championship. The Lions have won 4 NFL Championships. Yet you still call them the worst team in NFL history...

They're doing better than almost any other team right now, and you're still complaining? In '08, the Bengals lost their first 8 games, and ended the season 4-11-1, the whole time being rooted for by me.

You're showing a perfect example of what it is to be a fair weather fan.
Yeah, the Lions aren't the only bad team and probably not the worst. Look at the Seahawks, they've only had ONE Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. I was very lucky enough to be around when they were good, but they still lost and were bad again a few years later. When Shaun Alexander's career was ruined by injuries. Now, they're in a rebuilding process with arguably the worst starting quarterback in the league.

Considering NFL championships don't count. The Lions have zero superbowl appearances
