This thread is for people to say their experiences with bad coaches.

Mine:
I had a basketball coach so intense, you practiced every day from 3-6. He yells at you, and punishes you immensely for even the slightest mistake. The funniest part is, he was on the news because he threw a chair at a referee :D

It seems most coaches nowadays have practices almost every day.

I used to have a coach who would scream at you from the bench if you didn't do something the way he wanted it done. It was more annoying than hurtful, honestly, but he's definitely the least favorite coach I've ever had.

My coach had 2 and a half hour practices every day of the week and he would force us to do fundraisers to raise money to support our JV team where we all had to raise a certain amount of money and we'd have hour meetings added on to practices on school nights so three and a half hour practices was not fun after school. Also, it didn't help how many suicide he made us run which is why I didn't play basketball this season. Maybe if we get a new head coach then I'll try out senior year, but it looks like he will be staying. Yet, more than half the kids that played last year quit to intramural basketball which was really fun.

When I was 16 years old, I had a coach who was...65 ( ! ) years old. He was screaming every minute, but no one was hearing to him. He was just annoying. When the training was finished, he had been talking to us about his life. Just boring. I don't know where he is now. He is probably 75 years old.

I've had a coach before that would always focus on one thing...passing. It was so annoying, and passing was my least favourite thing. We were already awesome at it and things like plays and shots were what we needed to work on more! As well, I read a news article where a coach was sued for abusing his players by doing things liek shoving them and throwing basketballs at them! Pretty rough. :(
