Texas A&M to join SEC

Texas A&M has announced that they intend to join the SEC, they hope to begin play in the conference in 2012.

A&M has been in the Big 12 for 15 years.

Missouri has also been considering the move from the Big 12 to the SEC.

A lot of teams seem to be leaving the Big 12. I really don't like when teams move conferences. They should just stick to their original conference.

I think Missouri vs. LSU should be a pretty big rivalry then. They sound like two teams that would be rivals. I don't want them moving to the SEC though, there are enough teams in the SEC. :P

Except when you have the chance to make an amazing rivalry, like Nebraska vs. Iowa.

The SEC is going to overrunning the other conferences pretty soon...I heard that Clemson and Florida St. are also interested in joining the SEC....

Update: Texas A&M says it will not be in the Big 12 by July of 2012 if they can find a different conference to join.

SMU has announced that they are interested in joining the Big 12. I don't know why the Big 12 would want them though...
