The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a deal with free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, the team announced Monday night. Sources told ESPN's Ed Werder that Owens received a one-year deal worth $1 million. Owens had a very impressive workout Monday in Seattle, running the 40 in 4.45 seconds, according to sources. On Monday night, Owens took to Twitter saying, "God is good. Thankful. Grateful. To ALL my new teammates & the "12th Man"... Let's Do This!!" Pete Carroll, Owens' new coach, also used Twitter to welcome the newest addition to his team, writing: "@terrellowens welcome to the land of the #12thMan Terrell, see you in the morning... 8am meetings!!" Owens hasn't played in the NFL since the 2010 season with Cincinnati when he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns. The 38-year-old Owens didn't get any NFL offers to play last season after surgery on his left knee.

This is just awful. He's back in the NFL.

Thoughts?

Well he performed well 2 years ago, but I don't expect him to do too much now. He won't be as bad as Chad Ochocinco was last year, but he won't really make a big impact.

You guys don't know how scared I am about this. I'm praying for him not to ruin Matt Flynn's or Russell Wilson's confidence and becoming a locker room cancer as he always is. At least he won't be starting, but I wonder if he will want to start eventually as well. I really hope I'm proven wrong or this could be another bad season for us.

The Seahawks are on the rise. I actually think they are a pretty good team, but not a playoff team quite yet. Marshawn Lynch is a franchise back, and they hope Matt Flynn can be a franchise QB.

Yeah, Matt Flynn has shown promise with that one game last season where he started for Rodgers and Lynch is a very exciting back. Sidney Rice is a solid receiver, but is injury prone.

Low risk-high reward type of guy. I think this will work out for the better.

I don't think T.O. will get a lot of playing time, but I think he's still got the ability to get 30-40 receptions, depending on how much they do play him.

EDIT: Lol. I feel stupid for ever saying this. I didn't realize he would be that bad.

I was expecting him to get signed eventually. He'll probably put up some good numbers if he gets any play time. And don't worry, Car. He only led Cincinnati to a 4-12 record and forced our 5-year starting quarterback to demand a trade...

I kid. He was the best WR on our team and wasn't very cocky at all. I actually liked him quite a bit.

Haha At least they have the ability to cut him if he doesn't do well and move on.

Obviously he won't be the same T.O. as he was on the Cowboys he won't even be like the T.O. from the Bengals based on his first game. I wouldn't be surprised if gets cut if he keeps dropping wide open passes.
