Terrell Owens' attempted football comeback has reached a new low.

The Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League released Terrell Owens on Tuesday, according to ESPNDallas.com. Owens was productive for the Wranglers, but he didn't fulfill the obligations of his contract.

Wranglers owner Jon Frankel said Owens refused to play in two upcoming road games that are important to the team's playoff run and also cited the receiver's no-show for a scheduled appearance at a children's hospital. Ugh.

Owens wasn't required to play in all road games, but the team wanted him to participate in the key ones. T.O.'s contract gave him a 30 percent ownership stake in the team, but that has been nullified by his refusal to live up to the terms of his deal.

"It's disappointing and unfortunate, but (he) could no longer be tolerated by the Wrangler organization," Frankel said.

This makes me laugh. I don't think T.O. will be returning to the NFL. :P

Yep, this is pretty much the end of TO's football career. I expect his name to still be out there. He'll probably have more reality shows or something.
 
Haha wow. That's surprising.

He was actually pretty good his last year in the NFL on the Bengals. But yeah, this definitely means the end of his career.
 
Now it's just a matter of time before he joins some NFL talk show... :P
 
Wow, from playing on the Bengals to being cut by an indoor football team haha.
