The team of September is the Washington Nationals!!
Their key pitcher is injured, also a rookie, he is Steven Strasburg. He came into the majors with a 103 mph. fastball, overpowering most hitters. He had Tommy John surgery recently and xcan possibly come back with a 108 mph. fastball, which is dangerous!
Their key batter is Adam Dunn. With 34 home runs, Dunn leads the Nationals in batting. He is 3rd in the MLB in home runs. That alone tells you he is a big deal!
Any ideas for the next team of the month???

Ok! Today's player will be Ryan Zimmerman!
With 25 homeruns this year, Zimmerman is the Nationals 3rd baseman.
He has 28 doubles and 82 RBIs. He is not what you would consider great, but he fares well in the MLB. If it's him not being able to work to his full potential or what, he will go down into Washington Nationals history!!!
