The original Talkin' Sports (see what is left of the old site [http://talkinsports.proboards.com/]here[/url]]) had a nice five year run with a tight knit small community of members.

Over a year since the old Talkin' Sports went inactive, we decided to give it another shot and start anew. However this time, the goal is to get a small group of members with quality posts just expressing opinions and having fun. If you care about individual post counts, or flashy competitions Talkin' Sports is not the site for you. If you're looking for mature sports talk with just a few other guys (or gals), then you'll definitely want to check it out.

The new site is only a week old, so the design is still a work in progress and some of the old members are still making their way back. However it gives you an opportunity to be a part of it from the beginning.

Wow, I thought it would be alot more than that.

The most expensive domain I found was something like $11.99/year (which was talkinsports.net -the one I wanted) through GoDaddy! but then Yahoo! gave me the same one for $3.95. Either way though, domain names generally are fairly inexpensive. It's hosting costs that can be expensive but lucky for us proboards takes care of that. //storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png
