Tablets?

So what are your view on tablets? Do you think tablets are the way of the future, slowly replacing laptops and other mobile devices? I like them a lot but I think we're far from having them replace our computers. There's a new Asus tablet coming out in July that I want to buy to use for my social media feeds while i'm on my laptop getting work done. It's just easier to have this sort of setup to be quite honest and I find it far more proactive and efficient. What are your thoughts on Tablets? Do you have a specific type or brand you prefer over the others? If so, which one and why? Do you like 7" tablets or 10" tablets more? I prefer smaller tablets myself but that's just my opinion.
 
I much prefer typing on an actual keyboard rather than the tablet keyboards. Hopefully they keep touchscreens off of computer keyboards in the future.
 
I'm not a fan of tablets. I'd rather just stick with smartphones and computers. I don't see the need for a middle-ground...
 
I have a 10in Samsung Galaxy Tab2 and love it. I use it along with my laptop for school. I have a keyboard that acts as a case which I got cheap that I use when using it for school. I can't see tablets replacing computers, they lack power needed for the big gamers. I prefer 10intablets simply because I can see better compared to 7in and smaller tablets.
 
I am not much into upgrades for the sake of upgrades. I am content with my desktop as it takes care of my online needs. I have two feature mobile phones and that is enough for me
