wingsnut: I know they lost key players for large amounts of time. But that showed they lack depth imo. I'm not trying to insult them. And with the Blackhawks rebuild complete, the Wings will have competition with a younger, skilled Blackhawks team. No doubt though that if there weren't all those injuries they'd be in the WCF. But would Howard of gotten this opportunity to shine?
Cmt, Lidstrom still has atleast another year in him.
I think Howie would've played either way and ran with it since Ozzy was having a typical regular season for him, even at the start when our team was full and healthy. I think our depth is decent, but we lacked the experience with younger guys. I think Bertuzzi is once again leaving Detroit as he is UFA now. Next season hinges on the return of Lidstrom for much less then 7.45million he is making now. We have 5UFA and 3RFA with just 13million to play with. Homer, Bert, and Nick are just a few of the UFA who will need to take a wage cut to stay in Hockeytown. I hope we keep Drew Miller as he was one of the best young guys this year who stepped up when we needed it most, and to think he was a guy we got of the waiver wire.
Chicago will take out the Nucks and the Sharks, but will in lose in the SCF due to the Hossa curse. The Hawks will never win a cup with Hossa due the curse he has, but they will make the finals every season they have him there. I hope the Pens lose in RD2 with the Wings so the Habs magical run continues. I think the Habs can take out Boston and the Hawks to win the cup.
Pens might be in trouble even though they have game7 at home, look at at what the Habs did to the Caps in game7 in Washington.
Flyers almost for sure will win at home and force a game7 back in Boston. I am gonna pick Philly with the upset. The Habs will take out the Flyers in 7 in the East Finals and then defeat the Hawks in 6 at home in the SCF. Another year with the Hossa curse continuing with his team losing in the SCF for the 3rd year in a row.

Grand opening was pushed back once again, we'll just say it's TBA for now. We are still waiting on the completion of some custom development that has been in the works.
