I can't stand snow. Mostly because of how cold it is. Also because it's not worth building a snow man because of how little snow we get when we do get it.

We are expected to get some tonight and it's cold enough for it to happen. Although it only happens once or twice each Winter. Which kinda sucks as lots of other countries get it a whole lot more frequently.

I agree with you completely.

When the roads are slippery, it can be a really challenging task to drive. If you are not careful, you may cause accident.

I'd love snow if it didn't imply that it's freezing outside.

Yeah, I used to love snow when I was a kid, because it meant no school and I could have snowball fights with friend. However, now I just find snow a nuisance and I'm sure it's not fun driving in it even though we hardly ever have snow here.

And the uplifting post of the year goes to...

Here in Greece, we don't really have snow that's why when it is snowing, we admire it. I mean we get out, we have fun. I remember that only in 2007 or 2008 there was much snow. Schools and universities had closed and we have major problems. When it snows, I usually organize a nice excursion with my friends. Snowmen are my love but I cannot really create one. It is difficult, haha!

you love it because its rare when you get it. In the Great Lakes region and the Northeast as well as Colorado and states near them we get a lot of it. The first snow is nice, it means allergies are almost over for me, mine start in spring and go all the way into fall until the first good snow. I loved it as a kid when going out to play in it and the days off of school, ice storms were as fun as snow then since things would lose power meaning no school. I am OK driving in it, its other people who don't realize the roads are slick and you should slow down that scare me. People that fail to slow down cause accidents, its how i got most of my damage in my accident. Even when careful though its very possible to spin out, I have been going decent speed for conditions before almost spun.

Its rare for colleges and universities to close due to snow, their were a few days I wish they would've last year since I do have a 30minute commute which is made more treacherous when people are told to stay off the roads. The professor won't really care if you stayed home because they told people to stay off the roads. I had one day last year where the university closed, but their were 2-3 more where I felt they should've. If the community college closes so should the university.

When I was younger, I said to myself that I like the snow, probably because it does not happen here in our country. But hearing the complaints of some of my friends living now in the US, I realized that snow isn't good especially if it is too cold, or you get snow storm, or hypothermia etc. Nonetheless, I'd still want to experience snow.

We do not get snow here. Even when I visited countries that normally have snow it evaded me. Before I kick the bucket I would like to have some snow falling on my head.
