o you guys think Shaq can still produce for the Celtics? He's getting pretty old....No, the Celtics probably only signed him for publicity, everyone forgot about them. Everyone is wrapped up with the Lakers with the championship, and LeBron, Bosh, and Wade being together.
I don't see why everybody is saying its a "Big Four" or "Big Five" if he's probably not gonna do very well.
They also have Jermaine O'Neal and Kendrick Perkins to play center so I don't think he'll play as much as he's used to. I think they still are a known contender and I don't think everyone forgot them. A lot probably did but the Celtics are still in the top 3 teams so when the season rolls around they'll get there "popularity" back.

The guy is no hard core basketball player anymore. He just can't stand to step out of the spotlight. Im not a C's fan by a long shot, but I'de definitely start Perkins over Shaq any day of the week.
