You need to look up the definition of gay. On Dictionary.com, it links to "homosexual" in the definition, then "homosexual" links to "homesexuality," and then the definition is this:

sexual desire or behavior directed toward a person or persons of one's own sex.

Gay mean that you like people of your own gender. It doesn't say that it has to only be people in that gender though. So, if you are bisexual, you are technically gay; seeing as bisexual means you like people of your own sex, which is the basic straightforward definition of gay.

Bisexual people often prefer the same sex more, but their attraction can still go in both directions, and I think that's part of the diversity of human emotions and how a person can live if they feel their attraction is valid.
