Security v.s Privacy

While I might feel violated walking through these scanners, I believe they are saving lives, so I say security.

Even though there probably wouldn't be terroists on your plane, but you know the old saying, "Your better safe than sorry."

I understand how you feel. Walk-through scanners often cause discomfort for people because of the feeling of privacy violation, but on the other hand they can help detect dangerous objects and prevent harm. It is a trade-off between personal comfort and collective security.

Yes one has to Put safety first by taking a precautionary approach to decisions that may cause serious, long-term, or irreversible harm. Privacy can come later

But part of security also involves privacy; if you keep your movements and whatever you do hidden, it's less likely that an attack or something like that will happen.

That yours absolutely true. Protecting your secrets helps prevent many problems from happening. If clever and keep your secrets, no one will be able to harm you easily or plan evil plans against you at all.

It's true, although it depends, because there are people you can trust who won't hurt you even knowing your secrets. It also depends on what you tell them, because there are things you can share and no one can harm you for it. Besides, it's impossible not to want to tell anything to people you at least like and trust; that would be a very empty and bitter life. The only thing you shouldn't do is share your bank account details.
