I am a college student currently going to school online only for the time being. Personally I love going to school online, but I feel as though I would do better in a more structured setting. I feel like if I actually put effort into getting up in the morning and showing up for class, I'm more apt to do the work and get it done. What are your thoughts? Have you ever tried school online?

I've tried online classes and lectured classes. Each has their advantages and disadvantages. As for myself, I prefer lectures over online classes as I find it easier to grasp the material in person. I like how I can get an instant answer to any questions I might have in class. Usually there are forums or chats available for online classes but it's just not the same in my opinion.

School online is definitely more convenient and easier to attend compared to face-to-face teaching. But I also think that the human touch is sometimes important in the process of learning. You can ask any questions you have about the lesson straight away without having to go through Google and searching one-by-one. Although sometimes you don't understand a thing that the professor is teaching, so online learning might be better sometimes. Basically it all depends on your preference and situation.

I thought of doing online courses when I considered college, but college for me was out of the question one way or the other as I am learning disabled and as a student I had to had too many of my lessons tailored so I could complete them and stuff like that. Also, school in person it's probably easier to ask for help when you need it as well.

I personally think it is good to be on a real class rather than the virtual class. It is still different if you can "directly" interact with your teacher whenever you need to. In online classes/courses, there is that obvious barrier between you and your instructor, and if you have questions, you cannot get a direct answer. I haven't experienced doing online classes, but I'd prefer sitting inside the classroom listening to my teacher.
