Rutgers coach Fired

Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice has been fired because of a video that has surfaced. He was seen whipping basketballs at players, calling them homophobic words, and shoving players during practice. What are your thoughts on this?

Well-deserved. Not only did he cross the proverbial line, he threw balls at it, shoved it, and...well, you get the point.

I wonder if there'll be any other "stories" coming out from his former school, Robert Morris, over the next few days.

I'm sure there are other college basketball coaches that have done actions similarly to this one.

Ridiculous that this wasn't released as soon as the school first saw it. He should have been fired months ago.

I'm so glad he was fired! He should have been fired earlier instead of being suspended and fined in my opinion. In the video he literally hurts some of the kids, and I'm surprised nobody got injured. In one of the clips he pushes an already moving player, who almost face plants to the ground. His coaching "method" is a disgrace to the sport of Basketball.
