Royals sign Broxton

The Royals have agreed to a 1 year deal worth $4 million with former Dodger closer Jonathan Broxton.

According to Royals general manager Dayton Moore, Broxton will be a set-up for closer Joakim Soria.

The deal will be done once Broxton passes physical exam on Wednesday.

Pretty good deal for the Royals, but they still will stink.

Good pick up, but you can expect next season to be a rebuilding year, so it would have made sense to at least try to sign long term.
