Roethlisberger has broken thumb

Pittsburgh Steeler's QB Ben Roethlisberger says he has a small break in his right thumb, but it won't affect his ability to play, according to doctors.

The Steelers better hope they're right.

I fail to see how a broken thumb won't affect his ability to play... but who knows? He is Big Ben.

Didn't Tony Romo sit a game out a few years ago for having a broken pinky. It really depends if the injury is in his throwing hand or not.

It is the thumb on his throwing hand though. He'll be fine though, he's been through much worse. He'll be able to play for sure anyways, I'm afraid it may affect his release though.
