Rangers sign Oswalt

The Texas Rangers signed longtime pitcher Roy Oswalt to a minor league contract yesterday. Today the Rangers announced 4 planned starts for him in the minors.

I kind of forgot about Roy Oswalt... it's been a while since I've heard about him.

Well he's definitely still got potential to be one of the elite pitchers in the MLB, but signing him to a minor league deal shows just how uncertain they are about him.

Good veteran pickup. Should be a decent #5 for Texas

Yeah this is going to end up being a great pickup in my opinion. He can still pitch, and will be a good addition to the rotation.
