Sony recently announced the Play Station 4. Some of the main features are going to be more memory/ram, upgraded graphics, and a new controller with many new features. It is planned to be released this winter, I'm guessing sometime right before Christmas since that is what they did with the PS3.

Anybody going to buy it?
 
If I ever end up getting a PS4, it will probably mostly be just so I can play the next Elder Scrolls game. Because that game will be absolutely ridiculous.
 
I'm definitely gonna buy it. Some of those new features look awesome, and the share button is gonna be a really nice addition.

I'm more excited for the next Fallout, personally.

Yeah, that too. Anything Bethesda puts out on the PS4 will no doubt be amazing.
 
Let's talk games, now.

Is anyone excited for any of the games they announced? I think Killzone: Shadow Fall is gonna be great, Infamous: Second Son looks interesting (to say the least), Driveclub looks like it could be a really fun game to play with friends, and Watch Dogs looks incredible. Deep Down and Knack might be good, but I'll have to see more.
 
Watch Dogs looks awesome. Infamous 3 looks weird so far....apparently the guy you play as can manipulate dust and smoke...could be pretty cool I suppose...

Did you guys hear about Assassin's Creed 4? Apparently it's been confirmed for PS3, XBox, etc., but I don't think they've even said if it's going to be on the next gen consoles or not. I'm glad they're putting at least one more on the current consoles though. Not a lot of details about it yet, but apparently you play as Connor's grandpa in the Caribbean.

Yup. I read that it's gonna be released on both generations of consoles, which is cool I guess. That's good news for the people who don't get a PS4 or wait to get one.
 
I am usually behind with the times, so most likely, I won't be buying a PS4 anytime soon. I may buy a used PS3 from one of my friends once they buy the PS4, though. :P
 
I'll probably still be playing my PS3 long after I get a PS4. Even now, I enjoy playing PS2.
 
I probably will wait a while considering the PS4 won't be backwards compatabile, so I'll have to save up for it. Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost?
 
I'm guessing it will be around $500 or so, but no price has been announced yet.
 
Dunno if I'll get one or not. I'll save up and get a Wii U or the next Xbox if anything
