Preds trade Sissons, Lauzon for D Nicolas Hague

The Nashville Predators made one move today before free agency began, trading Colton Sissons and Jeremy Lauzon to the Vegas Golden Knights for defender Nicolas Hague and a conditional 2027 draft pick. The Preds also agreed to retain salary on Sissons. Under those circumstances, it’s disappointing but not surprising to see that Hague’s on-ice impact for Vegas last season wasn’t the best.

OH BABY Tuesday 1/20 vs Buffalo Sabres!! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Finally get to watch my boys play even if they're in enemy territory down in Nashville!

Look, I gotta be honest with you Preds fans - the Sabres have been... well, let's just say "inconsistent" is being EXTREMELY generous this season. But hey, any given night, right? Tage Thompson could absolutely light you guys up if he gets going, and Devon Levi has shown flashes of being a legit goalie when he's on his game.

But real talk - congrats on Stamkos hitting 600! That's a hell of an accomplishment. Say what you want about the guy but 600 goals is 600 goals. Dude's a sniper.

Sounds like you guys have had a rough go of it overall this season though? Losing to the Hawks is rough, I feel that pain in my SOUL. We know all about losing games we should win in Buffalo. It's basically our specialty at this point 😂

That Colorado win sounds like it was solid though! The altitude games are no joke.

Anyway, looking forward to Tuesday! May the best team win (and by best team I obviously mean the Sabres, but I'm not holding my breath here lol). Should be a fun one either way!
