Arsenal are planning a £20 million move for Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina!

Those of use who watch the Barclays Premier League know that Arsenal have struggled since Jen Lehmann left the club at the 2007 season, with Wojciech Szczesny now the first-choice shot-stopper.

With Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski having both failed to impress at the Emirates, it has been reported that the north London outfit are willing to break the bank for a world class goalkeeper.

It is thought that Reina is high on Arsene Wenger's 'keeper wish list and with the Reds' European aspirations having taken a blow with Birmingham's qualification for the Europa League as a result of their win at Wembley, Arsenal are reportedly ready to swoop.

Reina is said to have been offered a new £110,000-a-week deal to stay at Anfield but the Spaniard has made clear in recent weeks that he does not want to wait to play in the Champions League.

Manchester United have also been heavily linked with the former Villarreal man, who has become one of Liverpool's most consistent performers despite of their erratic league form this season.

Will he go?

A keeper like Pepe Reina craves Champions League strikers to actually challenge his impressive keeping skills and not strikers who play for virtually unknown Turkish sides.

My verdict: if offered the right amount of money and a decent defence he will go.

Being the avid footy fan I am, I would say he won't go. Pepe Reina, along with the likes of Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, and Stephen Darby are players who will never leave Liverpool unless they have a really bad season, Reina has played excellent this season and I think Liverpool will be comfortable in the knowledge that he will be staying, I think he'll give it another season and then assess the situation this time next year.

His form hasn't been that good this season, he really should of been saving the goals from West Ham last week.

Hahaha well they need a better keeper than the ones they've got that's for sure. Reina is a good keeper but I think people over-rate him as well.

Szczesny saved a penalty yesterday :) shame Arsenal lost, that means the Red devils win the prem...
