Penalty Kick?

If you, only you, could pick 1 player, any soccer/football player in the World, to kick a penalty kick, in the championship game for your country, if he makes it, your country is the Fifa World Cup champion, and you made a good choice, if he misses, your country loses, and you made a terrible choice. Who would you choose to risk it all for your country?

I would let either Daniel Pranjic take the penalty kick or Mark van Bommel.

Their mental abilities, especially when taking a penalty kick under pressure are phenomonal.

Dimitar Berbatov, Rio Ferdinand, or Nmemanda Vidic. Michael Carrick would probably win over them for me.

Carrick puts them in every time so I would go for him. I would also pick him if I choose out of the England team. He is a great penalty taker.

For club level I would pick Pablo Hernandez because he's a brilliant finisher.
