The New England Patriots made a surprising move today by signing QB Tim Tebow to a 2-year contract.

This was one of the last places I expected him to end up...I don't really understand it.

The signing reunites Tebow with his former head coach, Josh McDaniels, and former teammate at Florida, tight end Aaron Hernandez.

What do you guys think about this signing? What position do you think Tebow will end up playing the most this season? I wouldn't be surprised at all if QB ends up being his minority position with the Patriots.

I like Tebow, so I hope he can make something of this.

I can't say I'm surprised that he got signed, but I didn't expect the Patriots to be the ones who sign him...

I kind of like this move. How is this different than Tim Tebow being on the Jets? The Jets have a mediocre starting quarterback who has really never proved himself. That is why there was constantly stuff going on with "Tebow Mania" last season. Everyone wanted Tim Tebow to be made the starting quarterback because quite simply, Mark Sanchez sucks. In New England, this will not be an issue because Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. When Tom Brady has a bad game, there won't be the "Maybe Tim Tebow should start at quarterback next week." comments.

well being a pats fan i probably should care more than i do
but honestly he's probably not gonna do anything

He's the type of guy that sells jerseys at this point. He shouldn't be playing quarterback for the Patriots anytime soon, besides maybe the preseason.

They'll make a huge deal about him playing in the pre-season. Just like they always do when he does.

i still care no more than i did when he signed with the Jets. send him to the CFL to become a rb, he would be a better rb than a qb anyways.
