It’s getting to be that time of year again when we start hearing hockey-related news. On Tuesday morning, the list of young players who will participate in this year’s NHLPA/Upper Deck Rookie Showcase on Sept. 3 was announced.
Oliver Moore will be there on behalf of the Blackhawks.
This event, which takes place in Arlington, VA, gives Upper Deck the opportunity to take action shots of young players to put on their rookie cards later during the coming season.
I’m at least a little surprised that Moore won’t be joined by
Sam Rinzel.
Last year, the Blackhawks sent two players: forward
Frank Nazar and defenseman
Artyom Levshunov.
