Anyone been following? I'm a Wing's fan so obviously, not much to talk about on that front, but this Penguins/Capitals series is fantastic. Right now it's looking like game 2 is headed into overtime as well, at least at the current point. Whose everyone following and are you enjoying the playoffs? Can't wait for the finals, always something truly special about the Stanley Cup Finals in comparison to any other sports championship round. I'm picking Washington at this point. They have always been talented but it seems this year they really have all the pieces. Tampa Bay looks great too.

Never been able to get into it honestly.

I live just south of Washington, but still haven't been able to follow the Caps despite everyone around me talking about nothing else. I look up the scores and highlights in the morning just so I'm not completely oblivious when the conversations inevitable move to it. :P

I am a die hard Flames fan and since they didn't make it to the playoffs, I've been watching it but I am not rooting for any team. I still enjoy watching hockey if my team is not playing. Sometimes it's even more fun watching hockey games of other teams than your own (especially in playoffs) as you can watch the game without being stressed out by your team! :D

Penguins prevail in OT, take 3-1 series lead.

Another game, another nail-biter in the Capitals-Penguins series. After a scoreless third period forced overtime, Patric Hornqvist got a goal for the Penguins to win Game 4 at home.

A lot of people around here are keeping quiet about it. As expected.

Capitals consider season a 'failure' after exit
Alex Ovechkin looked up at the clock on the scoreboard and knew exactly what he would've been doing if the Washington Capitals were preparing for a Game 7. Instead, he was left to address another early playoff exit that has become an unwelcome rite of spring.

I was born in Western PA and live right over the border in Ohio, so I am a fan of all things Pittsburgh, including the Pens! They have great fans and a great team. I am very happy about their recent success. Did you know that Mark Cuban (Mavericks owner) at one point was trying to buy the team, as he also lived in the area at one time. It's a great franchise that has seen a plethora of great players over the years.

Martin Jones made 22 saves in his second straight shutout and Tomas Hertl scored twice to give the San Jose Sharks a series lead for the first time in four trips to the Western Conference final with a 3-0 victory over the St. Louis Blues in Game 3 on Thursday night.
