A lot of things have been going on in the off-season, this website I found out is not the most hockey crazed site in the world, and a LOT of thngs I could talk about.

Well, if you live anywhere near Ottawa, you know Daniel Alfredsson, longest serving captain in the NHL.

When he annouced he was not retiring, the citzens of Ottawa cheered on the streets, their longtime captain was staying! But- little did they know, he wasn't coming back to Ottawa.

Alfredsson claimed "it had nothing to do with the money" when he signed a 5.5 millon 1 year deal with the Detriot Red Wings. He said he wanted to win a cup, and he felt Detriot was closer.

I, being a diehard Sens fan went into grave depression, and I still suffer from picturing Alfredsson in a Red Wings jersey.

I was just as shocked, never would have guessed to seeing Alfie in another jersey. And in the same division too...

But hey, Bobby Ryan is nothing to sulk about.
