The NHL is being hit by swine flu this season.

These players have/had it:

Budaj - Colorado Avalanche

Smid - Edmonton Oilers
Visnovsky (possible) - Edmonton Oilers

Laing - Washington Capitals

Weight (recovered) - New York Islanders

There is probably more that hasn't been confirmed yet.

The leagues aren't helping prevent it from spreading by letting the sick players play. Some teams don't have a choice cuz the salary cap.
 
I didnt. But the Flames got them when Alberta ran out, and that caused problems.

It's too late for the vaccine to be effective if they have already got it. But I guess it would help prevent the other players getting it!
 
It passed. I dont think anyone cares about swine flu anymorea nyway.
