Hello, welcome to CSF's 3nd annual NFL Pick'em, the 2012 edition! We have prizes in Cmt Cash, if that's worth anything to you. How does this work? You simply pick the winner of each game. There will be a list of the games each week that you can fill out with who you think the winner will be. For the games that are in red on the list, you also guess the total amount of the two teams' points scored together. This may sound confusing, but don't worry, it will get easier.

Please make each prediction BOLD. (For example: Pittsburgh @ Baltimore)

Scoring:

1 point for picking the winner.
0 points for picking the loser.
3 points for picking the correct score total. (the total of the two teams points scored together)

Prizes:

1st Place - 15,000 Cmt Cash.
2nd Place - 10,000 Cmt Cash.
3rd Place - 5,000 Cmt Cash.

The weekly winner will receive 100 Cmt Cash. If there is a tie, no one wins any Cmt Cash. The top three will win the prizes said above at the end of the season.

Submitting Your Picks:

Find the post that lists the games for that week. Bold the team you think will win. For the games in red in that list, not only will you pick a winner, but you will also guess the total amount of points scored in that game.

What does "(##)" mean? That is where you put the total points scored by the two teams together. Remember, you still guess the winner of the games when you guess the total points scored. Any questions? Feel free to ask. I think I have explained everything.

Good luck!

It's not really that big of a deal, but I really don't like how you get to pick the score for games and get extra points. Because it's pretty much just luck and you get a whole 3 points. And I'm not just saying this because you beat me last year because of this, I have always disliked the idea. :P

Didn't get in before last nights game, but because no one got it right, I guess I'm still equal. I would've picked Dallas btw.

I liked what I saw out of Matt Forte today. The Bears looked pretty good, but that's partly because Andrew Luck played awful.

In other news, David Akers made a 63-yard field goal today. The longest field goal record is now a tie between Tom Dempsey, Jason Elam, Sabastian Janikowski, and David Akers, if I remember correctly. Someone needs to go ahead and break the record.

I'm so glad Akers is on my fantasy team. He might be the only thing that's still keeping me in the game.

I lost in fantasy this week. I should have started Adrian Peterson over Fred Jackson. Adrian Peterson racked up 20 fantasy points on my bench. Fred Jackson sucked getting only 1 fantasy point. That's 19 fantasy points I could have had right there just by doing that. I lost by 16 fantasy points. That was the difference right there.

I am in four fantasy football leagues this year, so it's hard for me to keep track of all the stuff. One of the fantasy football leagues I'm in has eight teams, and it's a league one of my friends from school set up. Anyways, what's interesting is that a few people in the league barely know what they're doing. For example, 3-4 teams have three quarterbacks. Why would a fantasy team need three quarterbacks? What really topped the cake today though was that one of the teams released Antonio Brown and picked up Kendall Wright, who I think has a bright future, but he wasn't drafted in our fantasy draft. Antonio Brown was his 75th overall pick and he dropped him for a wide receiver that went undrafted before he even saw a sample of how Antonio Brown will do this season. I picked Antonio Brown up immediately. I also saw how good Stevan Ridley did and I picked him up as well. Both of these players are going to be on the bench, but my bench has improved. Antonio Brown replaced Nate Washington who got injured in the game today and Stevan Ridley replaced my backup defense.
